I remember that day 100%. It said my parking had stopped and gave me a final cost, but it was still charging money on the server end of the app as I had learned a month later when I got my bill. My advice is simple: Always screen capture the moment you finish your parking time so you have something you can dispute if a charge comes up erroneously. Happened to me while using app in Israel. ### 2/5 — Pango hates me *2025-11-19, version 13.0.9* It wants me to validate my phone number, but it keeps saying “oops.” I delete it and try to reinstall, and it says “somebody already is using that number.” Live customer service not available. They were suppose to send me some code and after me trying to have them resend it over and over again, the app didn’t work and finally it sent me a message that they couldn’t send a code to the number I gave them and I had to leave the parking area and luckily found a free parking spot close to where I was going, but still had to take a taxi and pay 40 something shekels for that. I am currently trying to cancel them and find out how I do it because I do not want to get monthly charges for something that doesn’t work, plus I will not need it once I get back to the states, which brings up the point that they should have that option. Another option that would work is if they can’t send you a code through your phone; they should have an option so that a person can select to get the code sent to their email, but they don’t have that option; makes too much sense. ### 1/5 — Un-usable for visitors *2023-02-20, version 10.3.4* If you install Pango on a phone with a non-Israeli SIM, it only offers US or Spain as options. If you install on an Israeli phone the app is entirely in Hebrew, and texts and notifications from it are also in Hebrew. It's a very confusing app already, with important options hidden behind illogical menus, so adding a language barrier compounds the problem. But it then says that”OOPS!Something went wrong”. I hope Jerusalem requires improvement or cancels contract with Pango. They added it to my account without my permission and it was extremely difficult to remove. You cannot remove it in the app, they do not respond by phone, they offer a callback service that did not work, their WhatsApp customer service is an AI bot that can’t remove the service, and getting to a live agent is very very hard and time consuming. ### 1/5 — Dysfunctional *2026-01-06, version 13.1.3* I received an email to pay a balance. Trying to resolve the issue, it seems that customer service is a very (very) low priority for this company. It’s getting comical how bad the reps are handling this. I suggest to use Cello. Unlike Cellopark, Pango allows you to create an account without an Israeli ID. On the first screen, tap the settings button at the top to switch to English. Simple and intuitive. ### 5/5 — Great app *2018-04-02, version 7.4.5* Okay, I hate paying for parking; that’s a given. But what can you do? You wanna park, you are almost always gonna havta pay.... Pango has made that chore very simple. I still remember the days when you had to purchase parking cards, in advance. Then you had to use the machines, which were broken half the time or you didn’t have change. Pango is simple to use. I do not remember encountering any problems with the app. So, if you are going to have to pay for parking, thank goodness for Pango. ### 5/5 — Pango *2016-12-09, version 6.4* I have had numerous occasions where I have notified that a traffic agent has reviewed my car and found I paid through Pango.
