At minimum, ensure a definition is available for the pangram words. ### 4/5 — 4 stars instead of 5 *2026-07-06, version 3.3.0* The reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because I’ve played/had this game for a few years but I have NEVER seen the letter S. There’s been Qs, Xs, Zs, Ys, Vs, and Ws. But not a single S? I’m a bit baffled. All that being said, I play the game multiple times a week and enjoy it very much. ### 4/5 — Entertaining *2025-12-28, version 3.2.4* Fun game but full of pretend words, too many nouns made into verbs, arbitrary use of proper names (Telford, a town in England, but not London, for example), many inexplicable spellings of real words. Not a recommended way to learn English. Don’t get me wrong, I play it a lot. HOWEVER. Be prepared for real words in the dictionary to NOT be accepted as answers. I don’t know what the glitch is but it happens a ton. Including obscure words. And very common words. (Most recently had “ripping” be denied as a word). In some of the games they completely dominate the word list. Fun while requiring thought. I’ve had no technical problems. However, none of the many dozens upon dozens of sets of letters have ever featured the letter ‘s’. I just don’t understand why the owner’s ego won’t let you win fair and square. I’m an old woman who bests him every time and I can see him changing the scores as I’m playing and I don’t understand why I’m paying him money and if I deserve to win he won’t accept it and let people play fair and square. Sad. I hope someone else makes a similar version that will let you win if you actually do. ### 1/5 — Don’t bother *2026-05-22* This app is horrendously made. I suspect it’s been vibe coded. The UI is awful and has so many bugs. You are only allowed one pangram each day. The social features are strangely implemented and ham fisted. I am absolutely fine with ads. Apparently there is no option for ads. So I deleted it. Don’t bother downloading this if you aren’t ready to pay to play. So many nonsense words and ridiculous pangram words. Today my pangram was “Zabajone” which is a defunct and archaic spelling of an Italian dessert. Even the internet redirects the word to zabaglione. So obscure and ridiculous. I do the NYT version daily and this just seems silly with the number of included words that most people have never seen before. The creator of this app seems like a really genuine person who does his best to keep the app up to date.
