Pangu makes shared expenses simpler for real life.

Whether you are traveling with friends, sharing a home, managing family spending, or splitting costs for an event, Pangu helps you keep everything organized without forcing a traditional sign-in flow before you begin.

Create or join a group quickly
Start a group in seconds or join one with a 9-character code. No login wall before you can begin tracking.

Choose the right level of detail for each group
Use Focus mode for a simpler everyday view, or switch to Complete mode when you want full controls, deeper visibility, and the full tab set for that group.

Track shared expenses clearly
Add expenses, choose who paid, and split them the way the moment requires. When you are not ready to assign the split yet, use Split later and keep the expense visible until it is assigned.

Keep private spending separate
Personal Expenses is your private expense space. Track solo spending, attach receipts, and move an expense into a group later if it turns out to be shared.

Scan receipts with AI-powered parsing
Capture receipt details such as merchant, total, date, discounts, and line items faster. Multi-item personal receipts can be saved as one parent expense with linked line items underneath.

Settle up with less back-and-forth
See who owes whom, open saved payment handles when available, review settlement breakdowns, and mark payments as paid or received.

Add recurring shared expenses
Group owners can enable recurring expenses, then anyone in the group can create scheduled shared costs with start dates, repeat intervals, optional end dates, and full split options.

Close out temporary groups cleanly
Closeout mode highlights split-later items, pending confirmations, and outstanding balances so a group can be wrapped up and archived with less confusion.

Get useful group insights
Review summary totals, biggest category, top expenses, receipt coverage, settlement progress, and interactive money-flow views.

Use the app in your language
Pangu supports English, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, French, and German. Language follows your device by default with a manual override in settings.

Recover your data later
Pangu is anonymous-first, but you can verify and save one optional account email with a one-time code, then use recovery later to reconnect your groups and Personal Expenses after reinstalling or switching devices.

Pangu 2.0.3 fixes a family of bugs where editing your payment method, display name, photo, or currency in Group Settings, My Settings, Mini Settings, or Settle Up could silently get reverted by a routine background refresh landing mid-edit. Also fixes your name and profile photo occasionally flashing the wrong value for a moment before settling on the right one, adds keyboard avoidance to Group Settings' payment section, fixes the receiving-currency picker to match the common-first ordering used everywhere else, and improves reliability of the shared join-link web page.

### 2.0.2 — 2026-08-31

Pangu 2.0.2 lets you try adding an expense — including scanning a real receipt with AI — and settling up right inside the demo group with no account, keeping everything you add on your device only. Shared invite links now recognize when you're already a member and open straight into the group, and claim links no longer error if you tap one you've already accepted. The Activities page and the "Paid by" line under each expense are now fully translated across all supported languages, and the language picker shows each language's own name so you can always find your way back. Also includes startup reliability hardening.
