I used this firm regularly and every single time i booked a taxi on the app for a specific time, the app automatically sends it straight away. I have spoken with the cab office, offered to provide evidence for the faults within their app and every single time i am met with rude, arrogant staff that speak to you like you’re an idiot, they have absolutely no interest in fixing the issues and instead enjoy patronising and belittling you. I will not be using these services again, worst firm in Colchester. ### 1/5 — Rubbish *2021-10-02, version 33.2.5* If I could give 0 starts I would. It’s the 3rd time in a row now when I book a taxi in the morning in advance for 4-5 P.M through the app and the taxi didn’t show up. When I called them, they said that they are fully booked, and when I told them that I booked it more than 5 hours in advance they were speechless and said it will take about 20 minutes to get a taxi. I’ve had times when I would book the taxi one night in advance to go to work, just to make sure I am on time, and they were more than 10 minutes late. THE WORST customer service ever. Don’t even bother, awful company. ### 1/5 — Awful *2021-08-08, version 33.2.5* Wouldn’t bother. I’ve been using them for years, and the treatment I have had recently is absolutely disgusting. Taxis are nearly always late, or don’t bother coming at all. I have now been late 3 times for work in the past 2 weeks, and they don’t care. Avoid. It just keeps loading and they have no cabs available anywhere in Colchester. Pointless app! ### 1/5 — ONE OF THE WORST TAXI COMPANIES & APP MADE *2021-07-04, version 33.2.5* Out of the 3 bookings I have made in advanced, 2 of them are always late. You can try calling the operators/staff but I wouldn’t recommend them either- some of them need training in customer service because they are the one of, if not, THE WORST in that aspect. They keep cancelling my ride and the driver they assign keeps changing. In one occasion, I was dropped off at the wrong location and was pressured to pay twice to which I called the operator to try to resolve but was told to contact again 4 days later (Monday) because they don’t have a manager in to sort it out the day I called which was a Thursday. ### 1/5 — Needs a lot of work *2020-09-01, version 32.0.2* GPS does not work properly. Not sure why you have an app if it isn’t working! ### 1/5 — Don’t bother if you actually need a taxi *2024-09-03, version 34.6.17* The app looks and works great, but a cab doesn’t actually show up. They don’t let you know that there isn’t a cab coming either. There’s no notification or phone call, you just get stranded. I booked a cab 2 days in advance, called them to confirm (which they did), then nothing. I called them 15 minutes after the cab was supposed to arrive, they basically said it’s not their problem. That was the 2nd time I’ve tried to use it, the first time was basically the same story. I gave them the benefit of the doubt the first time but it’s pointless. Both myself and my wife had the same issue. Ended up being late. ### 1/5 — Worst taxi Ever *2023-08-19, version 34.0.23* This is one of the worst lowest quality taxi experience you can get anywhere in the world. They dont care wether you gonna late on your work or wether you're missing your train etc at any time.Multiple time i tried to prebooked and and all the occasions taxi came 20-30min late and when i called to the customer care they dont even care about it and they dont even feel sorry about it as well. we dont have many options any taxis in colchester . Thats why they take the advantage of the situation and behave like this. First one booked for a set time and it turned up exactly on time. Second one was 3am and we only had to wait 5 minutes for it. Well done Panther cabs, both drivers extremely polite and both good value for money. App very easy to use. Will definitely use again.
