Your pantry, fridge, freezer, and cellar — finally in one honest list.

Pantry keeps track of what food you have, where it lives, and when it expires. Add an item in seconds, glance at the color-coded list, and get a reminder before anything goes bad. That's it. No account. No cloud. No subscription.

Everything stays on this device. No account to create, no server holding your list, no monthly fee. Export the whole inventory to a CSV file whenever you want — open it in Numbers, mail it to yourself, keep a copy in a folder. It is your list, in a format you can still read in ten years.

### 1.5 — 2026-08-18

Fixed: if you'd already unlocked unlimited items, adding one in the first moments after opening Pantry could show the purchase screen again. Pantry now waits for the App Store to confirm what you own before it asks.

The same moment could also be used to slip one item past the free limit. That's closed too.

### 1.4 — 2026-08-17

Pantry now speaks Japanese. If your device is set to Japanese, the interface, the expiry reminders, and the home-screen widget all appear in Japanese.

Also fixed: the day badge on each row now translates along with the rest of the app, and CSV import messages read correctly when only one row is involved.

Pantry is now a native iPad app, laid out for every orientation instead of running in iPhone compatibility mode.

Reminders are more reliable. A scheduling failure used to be discarded silently, which meant an expiry reminder could simply never arrive with nothing to show why. Failures are now caught and logged.

Fixed: the free-tier row read "4 lefts" instead of "4 items left".
