## What is Pantryfy?

What's for dinner? Handled.

Pantryfy is the kitchen app where your pantry, recipes, meal plan, and shopping list all talk to each other. Dinner decided in a minute, groceries used instead of tossed, a week that mostly runs itself.

WHO IS PANTRYFY FOR

Anyone who’s bought a third jar of cumin because they forgot about the first two. Tables where one eater is dairy-free, one hates spice, and every recipe needs a remix.

COOK FROM WHAT YOU ALREADY HAVE

Pantryfy keeps a running tally of your kitchen and suggests recipes that match, ranked by what's about to expire. Tonight's dinner usually finds itself.

OR JUST TURN ON AUTOPILOT

Tell it what your household doesn't eat. An AI agent drafts the week from your pantry and what's expiring, builds the shopping list, and delivers it Sunday morning. Between drafts it keeps watching: expiring chicken gets a use-it-up plan, a planned week with no list gets one drafted. (Pro and Family.)

MEET THE PANTRYFY AGENT

Ask: "add 2 lb chicken," "plan three quick dinners," "build the list." It does the work and remembers what your household likes. (Pro and Family.)

SAVE ANY RECIPE, ANYWHERE

Paste a URL and Pantryfy reads the page and saves the recipe. Snap a handwritten card, a cookbook chapter, or tonight's plate, and Pantryfy writes it up. No recipe in mind? Say what you're after and the AI searches the web, scoring every result against your kitchen.

SAW IT ON TIKTOK?

Share a TikTok, YouTube, Facebook or Instagram post to Pantryfy, or paste the link. It reads the caption (Pro and Family hear the audio and on-screen text) for the recipes nobody wrote down.

MAKE ANY RECIPE YOURS

Open any recipe in Studio and remix it. Scale servings and every quantity updates. Flip it dairy-free with one tap. Dial the spice, set the effort, hit Remix, and the recipe rebuilds around your choices. A flavor readout shows how the dish leans, built from the ingredients Pantryfy knows. (Pro and Family.)

IT LEARNS YOUR TASTE

Tell Pantryfy once: spice tolerance, allergens, diets, textures nobody will touch. Checked allergens are filtered out of suggestions, and vegetarian means no meat in the picks. Then it pays attention to what you do. Favourite a recipe, cook it, mark how it went, and next week's suggestions lean a little more your way. Keep rules for each person you cook for, including a kid without an account. Someone new at the table can send their rules as a link that expires on its own.

HOST A POTLUCK WITHOUT THE GROUP CHAT

Plan a party as one shared menu. Guests open a link, add what they eat, and claim a dish. No account needed. Every dish gets checked against the whole table before it lands, and the board shows what still needs a claimer. Your first hosted party is free, joining is always free. (Hosting more is Pro and Family.)

OUT OF SOMETHING? SWAP IT

Tap the ingredient and pick a substitute that fits the dish, ratio already worked out: use 3/4 cup. "Based on what I have" shows only swaps already in your pantry.

HONEST MACROS

Calories, protein, carbs, fat, and fiber per serving. What Pantryfy can't look up it shows as missing, not made up.

TRACK YOUR PANTRY IN SECONDS

Type a few letters and Pantryfy auto-completes from over 10,000 foods, with unit, aisle, and shelf life pre-filled. Or just say it: "I bought 2 lbs of chicken". Scan a barcode as you unpack, or snap a receipt or your shelf and AI fills it in (free to try, then Pro and Family). Expiry alerts land before food turns.

A SHOPPING LIST THAT KNOWS YOUR STORE

The list groups by section, produce to frozen, the way you walk the store, generated from the week's plan and checked against what you own. Checked-off items flow back into your pantry.

SHARE ONE KITCHEN

Invite your household so pantry, recipes, plan, and list update for everyone at once. (Family.)

Free forever. Pro and Family add Autopilot, Agents, Studio, barcodes, scans, and more recipes.

Plan tonight. Eat better tomorrow.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.1.6 — 2026-09-01

This update is about the people you cook for.

WHAT EACH PERSON CAN AND CANNOT EAT
Allergens, diets, spice tolerance, the textures someone will not touch. Everyone you cook for gets their own set of rules, and a six-year-old without a phone gets one too, kept by a parent, no account needed. Checked allergens are filtered out of suggestions.

COOKING FOR TONIGHT
Pick who is eating and the plan, the suggestions, and the shopping list all follow. Save the Tuesday regulars as a group so you pick them in one tap.

SEND SOMEONE'S RULES TO WHOEVER IS COOKING
Share one person's food rules as a link. It shows a first name and what they avoid, nothing else, and it stops working after 30 days or the moment you revoke it. Grandma opens it in the group chat and knows before Sunday lunch.

HOST A POTLUCK (your first one is free, then Pro and Family)
Twelve people coming? Send the link. Guests add their own food rules in a browser in about a minute, no account and no download. The menu shows every dish, who is bringing it, and which slots are still open, and each dish carries whether it works for the whole table. You see the table's rules as counts, Peanuts x2, never as names next to conditions. Everything from the party is deleted a week after it. Joining someone else's party is always free.

A CHAT THAT KNOWS THE MENU (Pro and Family)
Ask what to bring for a table with a coeliac and a vegan and it answers with real dishes, each one already checked against everyone's rules. Like one, and it goes on the menu.

COOK AROUND SOMEONE EVERY WEEK
Share a person's rules with the household you visit most and their planner cooks around them until either side ends it. The rules travel. Your cooking history does not.

Thanks for the feedback. It keeps shaping what we build next.

### 1.1.4 — 2026-07-21

This update is about recipes that come from anywhere: a video, a photo of dinner, your share sheet. The whole app got a new look while we were at it.

SAVE RECIPES FROM TIKTOK, YOUTUBE, AND INSTAGRAM
Paste a video link and Pantryfy pulls out the recipe. It reads the caption, and on Pro it listens to the audio and reads the on-screen text, so the pasta that only exists in a 40-second video ends up in your library with real steps.

SHARE STRAIGHT TO PANTRYFY
Pantryfy now lives in your share sheet. Found a recipe page or a cooking video? Share it to Pantryfy from any app and the import starts on its own.

A PHOTO OF DINNER IS NOW A RECIPE (Pro and Family)
Point the camera at a plated dish, yours or a restaurant's, and Pantryfy writes a recipe that makes it again.

RECIPE STUDIO (Pro and Family)
Any recipe is now a starting point. Scale the servings, flip it dairy-free, dial the spice from none to fiery, then hit Remix and the recipe rebuilds around your choices. A flavor readout shows how the dish leans and what would balance it. Studio also flags near-duplicates before you save one.

AUTOPILOT NOTICES THINGS (Pro and Family)
Pantryfy now notices things for you. Food about to turn, a planned week with no shopping list: Autopilot drafts the fix and drops it in a new inbox on your home screen. Approve in one tap or dismiss. It only sends a push when it's genuinely urgent.

TASTE PROFILES
Tell Pantryfy once: allergens, diets, spice tolerance, the textures people avoid. Setup takes about 90 seconds, and every suggestion, plan, and remix respects it. Checked allergens are filtered out of suggestions automatically.

INGREDIENT SWAPS
Out of buttermilk mid-recipe? Tap any ingredient for substitutes that fit the dish, with the math done for you: use 3/4 cup. No store run, no AI quota.

NUTRITION
Calories, protein, carbs, fat, and fiber per serving, plus a note showing exactly how many ingredients the numbers are based on.

RECOMMENDATIONS THAT EXPLAIN THEMSELVES
Little "because you" notes now show why a recipe was suggested. They get sharper as you favourite and cook.

MARK IT COOKED
Finish a meal and tell Pantryfy how it went: cooked it all, leftovers, or tossed. Your pantry updates and future suggestions learn from it.

SCAN WHOLE COOKBOOKS (Pro and Family)
The photo scanner now takes multi-page recipes in one pass.

SHARE A RECIPE WITH ANYONE
Send a link that opens as a clean page. No account needed to view it.

A WHOLE NEW LOOK
Every screen got redrawn: warmer colors, more room to breathe, and a dark mode that got real attention. Same kitchen, better light.

Thanks for the feedback. It keeps shaping what we build next.

### 1.1.3 — 2026-06-26

Autopilot got a big upgrade this release.

You can now just tell it what you want. Try "plan around my in-laws visiting Tuesday" or "use up the freezer this week," and it builds the week from what's actually in your kitchen. If it starts heading the wrong way while it works, type a quick note like "more veg, less pasta" and it adjusts. Stop it whenever you want, or open a finished plan and ask for a redraft.

It remembers things now, too. Tell it once that the kids won't eat fish or that Tom is low-carb, and it holds onto that, so you're not re-entering your goals every week. Every plan also shows which of those notes it used, so you can see why it picked what it picked.

Thanks for the feedback. It's shaping what we build next.
