## What is PantryTurn?

Turn confirmed package dates into a seven-day rotation rail for Pantry, Fridge, and Freezer. No account or uploaded inventory is required.

CAPTURE DATE WITH LABEL CONTEXT
Use the camera, choose one image with Apple’s system picker, or type the package date manually. Apple Vision reads visible text and barcodes on your device. Every result is an editable draft. Before saving, confirm the item, zone, quantity, package size, optional cost, and whether the printed date says Best Before, Use By, Sell By, or Packed On.

USE NEXT THROUGH SEVEN DAYS
The Use Next rail groups confirmed batches by time and zone across the coming seven days. Act on one quantity, or close the remaining batch as discarded, without losing the original date context.

KEEP A ROTATION LOG
Rotation Log retains only used and discarded events recorded in PantryTurn. Optional costs create clearly labeled estimates rather than verified savings. Local reminders can follow dates you choose.

MOVE YOUR ROTATION RECORDS
JSON backup and restore are included. The one-time Rotation Toolkit adds PDF rotation reports, CSV rotation tables, custom zones, unlimited active batches, and multi-batch move or delete actions.

FOOD-DATE BOUNDARY
PantryTurn organizes labels; it does not determine whether food is safe. Dates, OCR results, and estimated values are informational. Follow packaging, storage conditions, official local guidance, sensory checks, and your judgment.
