Remember paper chains? One loop for every day until the big one, and every morning you got to tear one off. Paper Chain brings that back, on your phone. Make a chain for anything you're looking forward to, hang it on your wall, and pull the bottom link when the day comes. It stretches, it tears, the chain bounces back, and the scrap flutters down onto a pile on the floor that grows as the day gets closer. Tear the last one and the whole pile flies. COUNT DOWN TO ANYTHING Halloween. A beach trip. Grandma's visit. The wedding. The baby. Days, sleeps, or just a number: 30 workouts, 12 chapters, 10 piano lessons. Make as many chains as you want, and hang two to a room. MADE TO FIDGET WITH Even when there's nothing to tear today, it's a good thing to fidget with. Swing the chain and watch it settle. Roll the spool up and let it unwind. Flick a scrap across the floor, sweep the pile. Turn the page and the next room pops up like a storybook. ROOMS WITH A LIFE OF THEIR OWN Hang your chains in a cozy room, on a chalkboard, in a playroom, out in a pumpkin patch at dusk, or by a frozen pond in the woods. Pick paper for the occasion: birthdays, Halloween, and bright primaries are free. And every room has a little secret to find. RIGHT ON YOUR HOME SCREEN Put a chain, or a whole room, on your Home Screen and Lock Screen. A friendly nudge for the things you're looking forward to. A quiet reminder can let you know when a link is ready to tear. PAPER FOR EVERY OCCASION Birthdays, Halloween, and bright primaries are free. THE PARTY PACK One purchase unlocks every paper and every room, and every new one as it comes: Thanksgiving, Hanukkah, Christmas, New Year's, Valentine's Day, weddings, babies, vacations, the beach, and more. Each printed paper is now in full color, cut in strips from a printed sheet, like the chains you made in school. So no two links come out quite alike: pumpkins and turkeys, menorahs and dreidels, gingerbread and snowmen, balloons and birthday cakes, and more. New: Valentine's Day paper, in the Party Pack. Hearts, love notes, and sweets. The paper looks real, too. You can see its thickness and its cut edges, light glows through it, and the scraps on the floor curl every which way. Plus: the chain stays clear of the spool, and the page dots at the bottom are bigger. ### 1.2 — 2026-10-27 Three new rooms! A Playroom, free: tap the tower of wooden blocks and watch them tumble. A Nursery: tap the wall to turn dusk to night, star night-light and all. And a café for Valentine's, with snow at the window and heart lights to switch on. Your wall is now kept in your own iCloud: reinstall Paper Chain or get a new phone, and your chains and rooms come back. The plain room is quiet now. No more hum. See each paper as long strips before you pick it. Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, Lunar New Year, and Mardi Gras are in the holiday list. ### 1.1 — 2026-10-26 Paper Chain has sound! Hear every tear, the spool clicking, the scraps landing, and each room’s own: the crackling fire, the waves, a witch whooshing past the moon. Turn your ringer on to hear it, or turn it down in Settings. Finish a countdown and your paper takes a bow: a party horn, sleigh bells, a turkey gobble. Share and Edit now sit right beside each chain’s count. The Lock Screen widget shows your own chain, and a link that’s ready to tear hangs open. Got an idea for a room or a holiday? Settings has a line straight to Chris, who makes Paper Chain. Plus: a resting finger catches a swinging chain every time now, and the penguin’s skate marks wait for the penguin. ### 1.0 — 2026-10-23 No release notes. ## More apps by Ribbescobb Labs LLC - [That's Stronk](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/thats-stronk/id6761347462) All apps by Ribbescobb Labs LLC: https://appshunter.io/developer/1889041357 --- *Data collected daily from the US App Store and indexed by [AppsHunter](https://appshunter.io/).
