Took me a while to actually beat it due to the rng of cards. Definitely worth playing. Should definitely add in more chapters and possibly skill points per completion to make it more interesting. ### 2/5 — I like it but… *2026-02-02, version 1.1.0* Took me a couple dozen tries but finally got past level 1, only to find there is only one level. ### 1/5 — Update broke game *2026-01-24, version 1.1.0* After update, I can’t start a new game and when I enter the one I was in the middle of there’s no enemy and nothing works. Good stuff tho ### 1/5 — idk why that guy lie he passed chapter 1 *2025-12-17, version 1.0.3* This game honestly isn’t that good, but it really triggered my competitive side. I’ve seen someone (clearly a liar) claim that they cleared Chapter 1 on the first day. I’ve also seen people say that Chapter 2 doesn’t even exist. After actually playing the game seriously, I can confidently say that the person who said they cleared Chapter 1 on day one is lying. Here’s why: • Permanent stats only start saving after you pass level 100. • Each run to 100 takes at least 15 minutes, even if everything goes smoothly and lucky to die at 100. • To survive the boss (which can two-shot kill you), you must rely on critical hits. • To clear Chapter 1, you need: • At least 30–40 permanent critical points. • Max 10 attack speed • Even with extremely good luck, this means you need more than 50 runs past level 100. Or even 80 runs. Now do the math: 50 runs × 15 minutes = 12.5 hours minimum, and that’s assuming perfect luck. So no, there’s no realistic way someone cleared Chapter 1 on the first day. And here’s the bigger issue: Chapter 1 is actually impossible to clear. After several days of grinding, I finally stacked enough stats and reached level 364. At that point, the “Next” button is completely unclickable. Restarting the game doesn’t help — it still stays stuck there. So there is no “clearing Chapter 1.” There is no Chapter 2. The person who claimed otherwise was simply making things up. I honestly don’t understand what people gain from lying online, but facts are facts. As far as I know, I’m the only one who has reached level 364, and the game is clearly hard-locked there. ### 4/5 — New update issues *2025-12-15, version 1.0.3* This newest update seems to have the opening screen frozen on the book and candles. Hope it gets fixed, this is a fun game to play! ### 1/5 — Was a good game *2025-12-13, version 1.0.3* It started out a good game, but now it won’t even finish loading. I deleted it. ### 3/5 — Simple and straightforward in concept, but difficulty spikes too much. *2025-12-08, version 1.0.2* The concept is good with lots of room for expansion. I have made about a dozen run attempts so far, with varying strategies, but am constantly getting stonewalled at day360. The difficulty spike is off the chart, to the point I’m getting 2-shot before any of my cards proc. It doesn’t seem to matter if I focus on defense and tankiness, or work on max atkspd and crit, it’s not nearly enough to stay alive in hopes that my Ice Blast or Dodge card kick in. Am I just supposed to grind and increase my stats (prob HP) up one point at a time? Also, as others have mentioned, Fortune is just bad. I have yet to get the extra card slot, and have instantly lost runs to losing a key item or card. Lastly, adding a bit more flavor to the run, or “ bosses” that dictate which bad guys you see would help the grind.
