Terdapat banyak bug, seperti masalah saat menambahkan foto ke peta atau font yang tidak terbaca dengan latar belakang saat tema gelap diaktifkan. Saya telah melaporkan masalah ini kepada pengembang beberapa kali selama tiga tahun terakhir, tetapi mereka belum menyelesaikannya dan terus mengabaikan pengguna yang telah melakukan pembelian dalam aplikasi. The application is terrible. It has countless bugs, such as issues when adding photos to the map or unreadable fonts against the background when the dark theme is enabled. I have reported these problems to the developer multiple times over the past three years, but they have not resolved them and continue to ignore users who have made in-app purchases. There is no lifetime purchase option either. Horrible application. ### 1/5 — Ugly devs *2023-10-15, version 6.8* Don't make any purchases in this app. It's so buggy that it's impossible to use. And the developers have been ignoring user complaints for 2 years, especially from those who made in-app purchases and refuse to fix the bugs. Even in the dark theme, fonts are barely visible. Photos added to the map are inconvenient to view and get lost during export. And there are many more bugs. They immediately sold a one-time purchase, and then took it away and forced me to subscribe. Scammers. ### 1/5 — Forced subscription when was previously free *2019-10-11* Was a great app when using the app was free, but now that it requires an annual subscription, there are many more better map apps available, so no thanks. ### 1/5 — Can’t transfer data *2019-09-20* Bought the app. Loved it. 6 months later bought a new phone. Can’t transfer any data. No answers from support. Really ticked off. ### 1/5 — Yearly subscription required *2019-08-26* I happily deleted this app. Whilst it was sort of ok to use at a pinch when it was free. A subscription requirement was shrewdly introduced in the last update, asking $$ for development. Well... it got a quick delete instead. Be gone paper maps and don’t come back. ### 1/5 — Clunky *2016-11-12* Clunky interface. Poor Dropbox support. Can't load geopdf. Can't delete place mark. Couldn't zoom to current location. ### 3/5 — Works, for now *2026-05-22* The website paper-maps.com is gone and the app hasn’t been updated for four years. But despite that it works and shows my location on a geo tiff I imported. (FAA sectional map, 61mb tif.) ### 3/5 — Great concept, implementation issues *2019-05-31* The app works great, except a few issues. 1. Paid content is only available in the device it is purchased on. There is no account to associate your purchases with, hence no portability to other devices. You will lose all of your purchases once you have to move on to another device. 2. Some paid maps (specifically BRMB Topo) had issues with purchasing and downloading. Some maps that I tried purchasing didn’t go through, and now they show as “Purchased” in the Map store (so I cannot try purchasing again), but they don’t show up in the list of Purchases. There is no way to reset this situation, short of clean-reinstalling the app (and losing all of your downloads). 3. Picking a map from a long list of downloads is a nightmare! You have to manually scroll and scan through the list. No search by name! No automatic selection by location! No jumping to a letter or any other mechanism to make selections any less painful! ### 4/5 — Mapping with my own map made simple! *2018-05-20* I need to be able to see where I am located relative to a map of my own design. Without the use of GIS, a laptop and some involved steps, it seemed impossible. This app made it happen! And it’s simple. Perfect for hiking around in the national parks/forests outside of cell service. No frills, no ads. Thank you! Two suggestions: One I wish you could export the underlying maps as pdfs for printing, since this is a much easier browser than the National Map website. Two, there should be some sort of users guide since all the app features aren't immediately intuitive. ### 5/5 — Awesome support for types *2017-04-05* Awesome app. Downloaded to replace Avenza PDF maps and it does all I need. Interface a little cluttered but great app ### 5/5 — Great mapping tool! *2016-12-04* This is a great alternative to some of the others on the market. The team is responsive to requests and have made a stable and reliable app. Please change the icon to the standard blue dot vs the little stick figure. Speed and altitude info would also be nice. Also please add interactive waypoints so I can add photos and text descriptions to them and the ability to share them with other NextMap users.
