Exported PDFs and shared pages now carry the document's own name instead of a long internal one, so they are recognisable once saved or sent. Renaming a document now sticks when you leave the screen straight after typing, and the occasional technical error message has been replaced with plain language. ### 2.17 — 2026-09-03 Scans stay visible after a device or iCloud restore. Every page was previously saved with a path that stopped working, leaving a library of blank tiles. Rotate and Filter now show the change straight away, and cannot be started twice at once. The photo-permission prompts now offer to open Settings, so the feature is recoverable after Don't Allow. Recognised text is cleared when pages are added, removed or reordered, instead of describing pages that are no longer there.
