The best pencil-compatible sudoku
The “learn” function is so smart, and updates according to correct numbers I’ve placed. Hoping to get the highlight function that lights up an entire relevant row &/or column please.

This app is compatable with the Apple Pencil and is everything I could have asked for as a sudoko app on my iPad.
Need more options for visibility
I’ve been using this for a couple of days. I have a sudoku app that I’ve used for over 10 years but wanted one that works with Apple Pencil. This is easy to use. But I’m struggling with the puzzles because it’s difficult to see the font & colors. I am also finding that the hardest puzzles are not challenging enough.

Okay pros: highlight any number, everything’s free, ads do not bombard you (very few), auto note taking, auto error highlight, the option to turn those features off. You can write with your Apple Pencil and apparently 3rd party too. There are tips if you want to learn, and hacks if you’re a speed runner. Honestly worth the shot to try it, again it’s free. I paid for the app to show support. ALSO DEVELOPER RESPONDED TO ME FAST, THEY ACTIVELY WORK ON THIS MASTERPIECE.

I will give you the con before the pro; there is a glitch with the highlighter if you like to strike through whole lines when the boxes are more full. This doesn’t happen every time either.

Thank you for your feedback! I have addressed the highlighter issue you described in version 3.1 (releasing tomorrow), it should now allow strokes crossing multiple cells.

Latest update breaks notes
Everything is green now for notes…. Same color as the correct number. Whatever you did broke the game. Otherwise it was fun while it lasted.

Yes, it’s that good! :-) Get it, pay for pro. You won’t regret it. I play this nearly every day. Best sudoku game out there. The “Learn” mode is fantastic. Many thanks to the developer.

Great app! Only one issue so far…
I really enjoy spending my time with this app! It’s very convenient to use with Apple Pencil. The only issue I’ve run into is that it spontaneously corrects my “mistakes” even when the “correct mistakes” slider is off. It just turns this option on again which is annoying. Will give well-earned 5 stars once this issue is fixed

I’ve played sudoku on my iPad and my phone for several years now,but whenever I tried to play using paper and pencil I struggled even with medium level games. Then I found this and it’s combines the ease of using the iPad with the bare bones of paper and pencil and I find it all the more exhilarating.

It’s great that it has Apple Pencil support. The Force Touch of the Pencil could be improved though. So could the backgrounds. Overall great!
