Then I have to go find the email over and over! ### 1/5 — Bad UX *2024-06-20, version 1.13.4* Desktop download doesn’t work on Mac and is required to print. Why do I have to get a mobile app and a desktop app to be able to print? I should be able to choose between one or the other, or use alternatively just use a web browser interface, to be able to submit a print job. We all basically have to delete and fully redownload everything every time we use it, and my computer won’t cooperate (I’ve heard Macs sometimes don’t, not sure why), so printing even a single, black-and-white, one page document is something that I have to budget AT LEAST 20 minutes for, sometimes significantly longer. I really hope that my college gets rid of this, but in the meantime, I guess I’ll have to cut down on printing anything that isn’t an absolute necessity and pray that it doesn’t decide to fight me for an hour on something I actually need. Is this your plan to cut down on paper use, PaperCut? My company requires it to print to the office printers. I am constantly having to delete and reinstall the app to get it to work. Then I have to re-register. App is responsive, looks as good as a native app, and works extremely well. I like that the app shows a preview of a document before releasing, and that there are multiple methods of release in device list, QR code, and NFR chip. Great, effective, easy to use app. What more could we ask for? ### 5/5 — They did it *2021-02-03, version 1.1.1* 15 minutes after starting, we had a new, cloud PaperCut Hive instance, with a super node, admins, and users. A day later, we have Intune packages to deploy Edge Mesh nodes, IPP print queues, automated user provisioning (via AzureAD integration) - all the hits. Cant wait to see how this product grows over the next year! ### 4/5 — Useful but room for improvement *2023-01-26, version 1.4.2* It is great to be able to print things easily from your phone without needing to go to the printer first; it saves time in a busy working day. BUT, in a big place with many printers on the network, it would be great if you could easily mark a specific printer or two as favourites that would then appear at the top of the list so you don’t have to scroll through the whole list to find the one you need. ### 3/5 — Easy to use *2025-05-14* Very easy to use. However, sometimes the app won’t open or crashes as soon as I click the icon on my iPhone. There are often error messages that don’t always pop up when I am on the same network. ### 3/5 — I like it but … *2023-09-24, version 1.7.0* First the glows: I don’t have to worry if I accidentally print the wrong thing because I have to release it first and I can preview before doing so. I also like that I can release from my phone. I like that I can walk up to any printer at work and release rather than running back to the printer furthest away. Now the grows: too many times my print jobs disappear (either they never show up or they say printing but again never show up). The app keeps crashing so I can’t release from my phone and yes this is important to me. And finally overall something about this app has been making all of our printers inoperable. One of the printers will keep resetting itself. ### 3/5 — Login is awkward *2023-03-20, version 1.4.2* Would be useful to support qr code loading from images.
