### 4/5 — Great app

*2026-06-30, version 7.0.1*

I am using this app every time I pick up my ukulele to practise. I can find my favourite music, add new music I retrieved from various internet sources. I can link to video tutorials specific to the music I am playing
I can save multiple urls as text - it would be nice to be able to save multiple links.

### 4/5 — DEVS PLEASE FIX THIS

*2026-03-08, version 7.0.1*

This app is perfect except one thing that is really grinding my gears: in portrait mode I cannot zoom in on the page AND get ride of the tool bar. When I tap the tool bar out, the page returns to its original size. I want the page to remained zoomed the way I want when the tool bar gets tapped away. Landscape mode has a zoom feature that allows me to do this, I don’t understand why portrait mode does not. It’s a small thing, but it’s enough to make me browse other apps that has the zoom feature I want.

### 5/5 — Great music reader

*2025-09-02, version 7.0.1*

This app is amazing! I can have all my sheet music in one place, and it works very well with my foot pedal page turner!

### 5/5 — 100% worth paying for

*2025-08-23, version 7.0.1*

Not too complicated. Good user interface. It just…works.

### 5/5 — cool

*2025-07-21, version 7.0*

Perfect app

### 3/5 — One thing is missing

*2025-07-16, version 7.0*

Living in an era where people are accustomed to having access to their files on all their devices and changes are transferred instantly in the background, I really miss a cloud sync feature here. To be fair, the app offers a workaround that reminds me of how we managed things 20 years ago—export your files on one device and import them on another. This is so inconvenient! Instead, I would like to access and change my scores on all my devices without having to worry about transferring them to all my devices manually. That’s a terrible solution.

### 5/5 — Best music reader App

*2025-05-20, version 7.0*

Simple and full featured app with all needed functions. I have used several apps and this is my go-to app for my music repertoire.

### 5/5 — Excellent app for busy mucisians

*2025-05-13, version 6.0.1*

I have been using Paperless Music for over a year now and absolutely love it. I play with multiple combos on multiple instruments and it allows me to carry my entire library around with me. I can thoroughly recommend.

### 5/5 — Semplice e ben organizzata

*2025-03-26, version 6.0.1*

### 5/5 — Amazing App

*2025-02-07, version 6.0.1*

Has been a game changer for me as a musician

### 5/5 — Simply fantastic

*2024-11-12, version 6.0.1*

This app is extraordinarily well made, and an absolute steal for the one-time price. It has almost every conceivable feature for a music display app but remains clean and clear without anything unnecessary.

I have used it in performances in front of thousands of people, and it has never failed me. I have not found a single bug in my almost two years of almost daily use, other than sometimes crashing when a huge score is opened for the first time after importing.

As an organist the facial gestures to turn pages are fabulously helpful, as they remove any need for someone to help you turn pages while playing. Collections, smart folders and links also just make so much sense.

I may never go back to using physical music again. Thank you, paperless music.

### 5/5 — Bluegrass

*2024-10-20, version 6.0.1*

Love this App. I am constantly learning new songs weekly and I’m able to keep all of them in one place. While jamming with other musicians I can pull my phone out and set in on my knee and instantly play a new song!

### 5/5 — Best Music Storage Ever!

*2024-08-29, version 6.0.1*

I love this app. I use it everyday. I store all my music on it. It’s ease of use is it’s real strength. I can take all my music wherever I go.

### 5/5 — Best in Class

*2024-08-25, version 6.0.1*

Best app to organize my set lists and retain my notes! Only wish I could use the same database between multiple iOS devices.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Too early

*2026-03-27, version 7.0.1*

I’ve barely had the app 5 minutes and you already want me to write a review?

### 1/5 — Let me play back songs

*2023-05-26, version 6.0.1*

Why can’t you play back songs? This is so stupid that you can’t hear the songs that you have. Just use Musescore.

### 1/5 — Paperless music

*2022-05-08, version 4.6*

The app stinks! Won’t recognize onsong files can’t see inside my book app where I have multiple pdf music files. Worthless

### 1/5 — Stopped working with Bluetooth pedal during sound check

*2021-11-04, version 4.6*

I like the app, but it stopped recognizing page turns suddenly on a gig.

### 1/5 — Doesn’t Work on iPad Pro

*2021-02-12, version 4.5*

I bought an IPad Pro so the music is bigger and now all my music is blank when I open them.

### 1/5 — Completely broken for me

*2020-01-23, version 4.3.3*

There is no way for me to import PDFs into the app. I tried files directly from my iPad and from Google drive. Neither worked. I just spent money on a useless app.

### 2/5 — Screen flashes on page turn

*2025-02-07, version 6.0.1*

Not sure why but there is a delay on my ipad when I change pages.

### 2/5 — No family download

*2023-04-20, version 6.0.1*

Issue family download

? Apple ? Software

Please fix

### 2/5 — Disappointed

*2023-03-08, version 5.3.1*

This app is a music reader and pdf organizer. Editing is limited to importing pictures or pdfs and uses basic overlay to annotate file but not edit the underlying music, ie a basic overlay, with a few bells and whistles. Documentation shows music titles with duration time, but the app itself doesnt have the ability to play anything. This app does allow organization of multiple pdf, a bit better than Apple books in this regard.

### 2/5 — Help

*2019-08-14, version 4.3*

Can anyone help me figure out why my documents on iCloud or on my IPad are grey’d out when I try to import them into the app???????

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Works great!

*2026-05-29, version 7.0.1*

I’ve been using this now for over a year and am very pleased with it. As a bass player, I use it often for practicing and preparing for gigs. It’s especially helpful with long charts or charts with multiple page turns. Using a page turning pedal has been huge for me.

### 5/5 — Great app!

*2026-04-06, version 7.0.1*

I’ve been looking for a way to organize and categorize guitar tabs for my band and this is a great app. works well with the Donner page turner as well. Easy to share all this with my band mates too. Highly recommend and a great price too!

### 5/5 — The best

*2026-03-31, version 6.0.1*

Still The best tool for musicians !!!

### 5/5 — Perfect

*2026-03-25, version 7.0.1*

This app just never ceases to amaze me. Whenever I’m looking for something that I am expecting it to do, it does it. I put all of my own music and anything that I can grab into this app so that I can easily access it, and read it on my large iPad on my piano.

### 5/5 — Great

*2026-03-03, version 7.0.1*

Thanks for keeping it simple. Works great, no hassle.

### 5/5 — Best music reader and annotation app

*2026-01-30, version 7.0.1*

I have used Paperless Music for over three years. It is the best app for reading and annotating sheet music files. It has everything needed without the bloat of other leading apps. A major plus is that it is a one-time payment, not a subscription. The app support people have been excellent.

### 5/5 — G Wiz it’s awesome!

*2026-01-03, version 7.0.1*

There was no expectation other a need for a tool to save some effort and paper. What an understatement that said! You have got a 5 star rating from me! Now back to the music….. Keep on Pickin!

### 5/5 — Great app, just what i was looking for

*2026-01-01, version 7.0.1*

Lots of features, really intuitive to use

### 5/5 — Easiest: Gigs and personal

*2025-12-09, version 7.0.1*

I have purchased three of these, including forScore, and Paperless music has the others beat.

Paperless music easily enabled me to take photos of set lists, marked up sheet music, and all sorts of notes.

I play in an active Motown band and I have free workshops on zoom to teach musicians to play in nursing homes (PlayitForward.music), and I am encouraging all of them to buy Paperless Music.

I downloaded this for my iPad last weekend and for my iPhone last night. Was able to import the iPad files to the iphone. Easy

### 5/5 — So useful and easy to use

*2025-11-19, version 7.0.1*

It’s perfect for my use. I play regularly in Church and twice a year in the orchestra. All my music is put on the app and uploading new songs is so easy. I highly recommend this app. For the price they ask you’ll be surprised how much you get in features for that amount. A friend paid hundreds for his app. I showed him this app and he was impressed as it matches his in features!
