## What is Papershot Scanner?

Papershot is the document scanner that gets out of your way.

Open the app and it's already scanning: point at any paper — invoice, receipt, contract, whiteboard, ID — and Papershot detects the edges in real time, waits for a steady frame, and captures automatically. Prefer full control? Switch to Manual mode and shoot with the shutter.

WHY PAPERSHOT
• No account. No cloud. No watermark. No subscription.
• 100% on-device: your documents never leave your iPhone.
• Instant camera-first design — zero taps between opening the app and scanning.

## Version history (last 3 releases)

### 1.1.0 — 2026-08-31

Maintenance update, plus a much bigger reach.

Papershot now speaks 11 languages. Spanish, German, Italian, Portuguese, Dutch, Polish, Romanian, Swedish and Turkish join English and French, across the whole app and the system permission prompts.

On-device text recognition no longer reads only English and French. It now follows your device's language preferences, so documents in the newly supported languages come out searchable in your exported PDFs.

Fixed: the page count on the Save button could show placeholder text instead of the number of pages.

Still no account, no cloud, no watermark, no subscription. Everything stays on your iPhone.

### 1.0.1 — 2026-08-06

Maintenance update. Updated App Store compliance and age category information. No changes to app functionality.

### 1.0 — 2026-07-10

No release notes.
