### 2/5 — App was good until it broke now it only boots to a black screen.

*2025-08-27, version 25.1.5*

Been stuck this way

### 1/5 — App quit working a while ago

*2025-03-22, version 25.1.4*

I love this app, but it quit working quite some time ago. I just saw they did an update, so I tried to open it again. And nothing Just a blank screen.

### 1/5 — Next

*2024-10-13, version 24.7.12*

Well, this turned out to be worthless, I’m seriously three drills into practicing and testing the app when it wouldn’t give me any more beeps, and every time I look for a way to turn on the beeps, it’s trying to sell me into upgrading

### 1/5 — Price Confusion

*2024-05-15*

I just downloaded this app after reading recommendations for a decent Par timer for dryfire. I opted for this Pro version, as I am willing to spend a little more for some nice options. It seems I cannot use this app on my ipad unless I agree to paying $3.99 PER WEEK...?? My iphone states $1.99 per week, but even that is a hard pass for me. I guess I will be buying an actual shot timer after all...

**Developer response:** Hello! Our goal is to find a price that enables us to invest in building more features for our customers. We have just adjusted our pricing and we hope it works out for more people, including you! Thank you and train safe. 🙌

### 5/5 — Very useful for at-home dry firing

*2024-01-24*

The app does what it does well. The other par timer app on here that costs .99 doesn’t do as much. This has a repeat function and multiple standby times. Clean UI. I use it with a Rhino laser for first shot draws and it’s perfect for that purpose. I have one request though: it would be really useful to have a feature where I could go through the automatic start for a set amount of times. So I could know how many reps I’ve completed. UPDATE: the developers added a rep counter to the app, it works great!

**Developer response:** Hey! We added a rep counter to the repeat feature in 1.5.0. Let us know what you think! 🤟

### 5/5 — Works great!

*2024-01-22, version 1.4.0*

It does what I need to do to practice drawing my weapon, and gives nice indicator sounds when to do so.

### 5/5 — Love it

*2023-12-06*

I shoot at an indoor range, so a normal shot timer is out of the question for me, because it would just pick up the shots around me. I’ve been using this for about a month and I’m very pleased with it. If I could suggest a change, it would be the option to edit the standby time.

**Developer response:** Hey! Love the suggestion, we just improved the standby time editing feature in 1.5.0. Let us know what you think! 👊

### 4/5 — Very useful for at-home dry firing

### 5/5 — Great app for practicing at home

*2023-07-14*

Awesome! I almost spent more than a hundred bucks on a shot timer just for par timing. Glad I found this app. It is simple to use and the GUI is well designed. It has tons of beeps/tones you can choose from. This is perfect for practicing your draws at home. Just note, this app will not replace a physical shot timer, it’s a Par Timer, duh!

**Developer response:** Thank you! So thrilled that we could save you that cash to spend on training instead. Be safe and train hard! 🫡

### 5/5 — Fantastic

*2023-04-13, version 1.4.0*

If you want to practice your draws, this is the app to have, it has helped me improve so much. I cannot recommend it enough

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Useless without an internet connection

*2026-05-25*

So, this app would be great, but it requires an internet connection to function. The problem is that my range, like many many others is in a rural area and there is zero cellular or wifi service. The app doesn’t store information about the various drills locally and must download said info every time. Thus, this app is absolutely useless without a live inet connection. Don’t believe me? Turn your phone to airplane mode and see how the app essentially bricks.

This seems like a bad design decision and now I’m left looking for an alternative after wasting my money on this.

**Developer response:** hey g43guy, really upset that our offline mode didn’t work for you. offline mode is 100% a requirement for an app like ours specifically because we often train in rural areas. i just tested it myself and it appears to be working. please email us hello@partimerpro.com immediately so we can get to the bottom of this and make things right

### 1/5 — Unusable without payment

*2026-05-19, version 26.5.1*

Thought it would offer at least some sort of minimal features with the basic free download. But everytime I tried using it, it just asks if I want pro.

### 1/5 — Immediately deleted

*2026-05-18, version 26.5.1*

Because why on earth would a timer app need to collect your information. Ridiculous lol

### 1/5 — Subscription, no!

*2026-04-10*

The cost of this app is ridiculous. Would I pay $10 one time? Sure, it’s a good app. But $2.50-$15 a month just to hear a beep when I already have a real timer plus there’s free apps, no thanks. I don’t use any of the features other than the timer. I honestly can’t believe the app requires a subscription. It’s like subscribing to an app that plays fart sounds.

**Developer response:** Totally fair feedback. We’re a small team and the subscription is what keeps the app maintained. We just made it so people can browse the app for free so you can see what’s included before deciding. As a note we used to have a lifetime option but our customers were opting in to the subscription so we removed it. (I know, we were surprised too!) Thanks for trying it out.

### 1/5 — Useless without purchase

*2026-04-04, version 26.4.1*

Won’t even start a basic timer without a purchase. Not just the “pro” features, I no timer whatsoever. Well, since the app was already nagging me for a review after I’ve barely opened the app, wish granted!

### 1/5 — Paid app pretending to be free

*2026-03-03, version 25.1.5*

The app has no functionality without a subscription. Yes a subscription for a timer! Sneaky “free” app until you try to use it. Not even worth giving it a chance with that tactic. Even slimier; it asks for all your info before it tells you nothing works without a monthly sub. Just dirty tactics, I guess if you want a marketing ploy download it

### 1/5 — Paywall

*2026-02-14, version 25.1.5*

Hard to review the app when you can’t get past a monthly subscription. Would be nice to try before buy. Looking elsewhere.

### 1/5 — Sold my info immediately

*2025-12-18, version 25.1.5*

Within minutes of downloading the app I received spam texts.

### 1/5 — None of the videos are functional. The repeat function not found.

*2025-11-04*

1. For a paid APP, I would expect the videos to work. NONE are available.
2. The "repeat" function referenced in the tutorial is not found. The lack of this requires manually starting every single sequence. There are free versions with this feature that function great.
I wanted this APP to work well, it does not. :(

**Developer response:** Hi KC, videos all appear to be working. If you can send us feedback in the app with the name of the drill that isn't working for you we'd be happy to look again! Also the repeat feature is in the lower right of the timer screen. You can tap that to enable it. Thank you!

### 1/5 — App not working

*2025-08-25, version 25.1.5*

This app just stopped working. I open it and it shows a blank screen. I deleted and redownloaded twice. Please fix as it is a great app.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — The best dry fire app

*2026-07-13*

Hello - I’m a USPSA CO Master. I’ve been using this as my main dry fire app for about 2 years. It’s fantastic!

It’s easy to use and it has everything you need to simply start dry firing. Set your par time and get to work. Don’t waste your time with other gimmicky apps - you only need this

**Developer response:** hey, thank you for this amazing review! really made our day over here ~Luke

### 5/5 — Great training tool

*2025-11-05, version 25.1.5*

My pistol shooting has gotten better since I started using this app.

### 5/5 — 6 stars

*2025-09-25*

I use this program every time I dry fire, works great.

Setting delay times and targets to keep you accountable every session. Highly recommend

**Developer response:** thank you for the kind words, enjoy!

### 5/5 — Exactly as described!

*2025-08-28*

It works exactly as described and is an easy way to start dry fire practice at home without (or in addition to) the loud and bulky timer. I can put on AirPods and do dry fire practice without bother anybody, or I can use it at the range with friends and have them start a drill on the color stimuli. It’s a super awesome training tool to have in your back pocket (literally).

**Developer response:** We updated the multiple-targets feature to make it easier to understand! If you have 1 target, set it to 1. It will beep like normal. If you have 2 targets, set it to 2. It will call out "One!" or "Two!" with a voice. This forces you to accept a command and make a decision before reacting, which makes drills a lot harder. You can increase the number of targets to make it more difficult. Thanks for the feedback, it was really helpful!

### 5/5 — Does exactly what is needed to practice dryfire draw drills.

*2024-09-13*

Use it whenever I do dry fire draw drills. I love that you can set the reset time all the way down (fastest I use is the 3 second interval- it provides a great workout as well as condensed practice sessions.) And the random interval times are a great training aid to mix up your brain and actually use your reaction time instead of predicting the constant interval time. I was recommended this app by one of my most respected shootin buddies (who is kinda sub cult famous… SO TRUST THIS IS THE REAL DEAL!)

**Developer response:** hey taddfab appreciate the kind words. we’d love to meet your friend. if they are interested in taking a call please put their contact info in the feedback form in app. thanks!

### 5/5 — Solid app

*2024-07-25, version 24.7.12*

Easy to use, very helpful

### 5/5 — Works great - get it!

*2024-03-16, version 24.2.1*

Get it 💥💥💥💥

### 5/5 — Quick and easy.

*2024-02-29*

I’ve got all the training apps, paid & free. But this is the one I come back to most. Quick and simple. Easy GUI. Ample adjustments available without getting you bogged down in details that pull you away from training.

Note: This app only provides a metric by which to judge whether or not you are reaching specific objectives within a par time determined by you. Then allows you to crank up the heat, to challenge yourself to meet those goals a hair faster. It does that exceedingly well, but you will only get out of it what you put into it.

**Developer response:** Thank you for the kind words. We're so happy you're enjoying the app! Please feel free to use the feedback button in settings to send us any ideas for new features. Thank you and train safe!

### 5/5 — Shooting app

*2024-02-08, version 24.2.0*

Amazing shooting app

### 5/5 — Basic timer, but works well for my needs

*2024-02-03*

Needed a simple way to see if l can beat various time limits, with a random start. This does exactly that and I never needed another ap.

**Developer response:** Glad to hear we're working out for you! We'd be so grateful if you recommended us to your friends. Be safe and train hard! 🫡
