Everything feels fresh and well-maintained. Aside from the first visit where you get a training and a physical, I’m always out within an hour from start to finish. That’s an important piece because I think *technically* some competitors offer a higher base pay, but you’ll spend HOURS in their waiting room. Scheduling through the app offers you several 20 minute windows for checking in, and you get a pay incentive to arrive within that time. I’ve seen the chairs nearly full with virtually no waiting because the place is running like a well oiled machine. I enjoy coming in for all aspects of the process: knowing that I’m helping someone in need. Taking care of financial shortfalls, and a needed talk with who over takes my vitals. Staff member doing the physical recommended I try my left arm since the vein was better and my right vein is apparently crooked. Donation seemed to go faster and have less pain (only the initial stab this time around) and though it felt weird using my left arm, I think I’ll donate with it again in the future. I downloaded it because I wanted to see what Parachute was and afterwards I deleted the app because I was not interested. However Since the original download back in September I have moved and decided that perhaps donation would actually be beneficial for my wallet:). The app though shows Im donating in a city that is 2 hours away, but the plasma center near me is only 10 minutes up the street. The app refuses to let me make any appointments unless it is at the 2 hour away center. This is super frustrating! **Developer response:** Hi there! We look forward to getting this resolved for you. ### 1/5 — Horrible people…wasted time *2025-12-14* My wife went to get blood drawn and said that our address could cause the FDA to shut them down when we know someone who lives in the same complex and said well they are a friend. They continued to take my wife’s personal information and keep it in the system as deferred and she still gets notifications for appointments. The people are very rude. They don’t tell you what place you live in is acceptable or not until you get there and give them your personal information. They have favorites and said behind her back that she is too big when my wife is in the very low 200’s. She said it’s okay if I add it to my review. What’s worse is the lies on the “incentives and bonuses.” This new facility opened on July 29, claiming one incentive would give x number of dollars if six visits completed within the new donors first month, but they only allow a new donor to go ONCE in the first 30 days. Really? Spent almost an hour before I saw something that led me to ask a question. When someone was available I told her I was married to a man monogamously and there didn’t seem to be any exceptions where it says you’re disqualified if you are a male who has EVER had sex with another man. She pretended to research the subject and said “no sir, you’re permanently banned from donating”. The staff are always extremely friendly and great at their jobs. The pay is good, the freedom to choose your own schedule and days you come is very important to me which is another reason Parachute is just the best. I highly recommend and encourage anyone in good health that meet the requirements to come and donate! ### 5/5 — Best Phlebotomists Ever!! *2026-08-13* Huge shoutout to the phlebotomists here! Donating plasma can sometimes be intimidating or uncomfortable, but the staff here completely changes that experience. They are professional, highly skilled, and incredibly gentle with their sticks. Every single person on the team is warm, attentive, and does a wonderful job of making donors feel comfortable and cared for. You can tell they truly care about the people walking through the doors. I was on the verge of having an infiltration a full-blown pop, but the lady whose name is escaping me, was paying attention to the monitor and caught it before I had a full-blown infiltration. Because of her attentiveness I am walking away with the size of a pea instead of the size of a small onion. I love the staff here. I love this Donation Center. I’ve been doing this for 10 years and Parachute plasma is by far the best Donation Center I’ve ever been to. Thank you guys. I always tense up when someone does it but she provides a calmness and confidence that it’ll be fine. The facility, including the bathrooms are always cleaned. He kept making sure I was good and asking me how I was feeling and it’s because of him and others like him I will continue to come here. He really went above and beyond and made me feel safe and comfortable and we laughed and talked.
