Living in NYC, theres a million big and small indie theaters, it’s impossible to check daily on all their sites, you get caught up with work/life/etc. Ever since I downloaded this app, I’ve seen SO MANY MOVIES in my watchlist on the big screen! I mean are you kidding me, I’ve been praying for an app like this. To be able to get notifications like “Mulholland Drive is playing next Tuesday” or “That cool 60s underground horror film you added to you watchlist a year ago is playing a few miles away!” As a film buff who can’t watch certain movies unless experienced on a big screen, this app has saved my life. I am a fan! The interface is simple and easy to navigate. I love that my local indie and art house theaters’ showings are here, such as the Pacific Film Archive/BAMPFA which I couldn’t otherwise find on Fandango (which I have since deleted since they jack up ticket prices and have annoying ads). The Letterboxd integration is fantastic. I have a lot of Cannes releases on my list and I love that I get notified when those are playing near me (especially since I don’t use traditional social media). You can directly look at movies or see what each cinema is screening. And almost everything can be done in the app itself. It doesn’t stutters, takes too much space and is easy to use. I look forward to seeing more regions represented in the app, but in the meantime, it’s not relevant to me. You should advertise the specific cities this app is made for. ### 3/5 — There was no screening Paradiso said there was *2023-07-28, version 1.12* I love the design and the app. But I trusted the time it wrote for a movie screening and scheduled around it. I traveled to the movie theater and waited for some time, only to learn there was no this screening. That was a bummer! I guess I should not trust the app and double-check it’s information. To clarify: I am talking about 7.25 screening of Past Lives at the Angelika in New York on July 28. 2023. ### 4/5 — Actually makes the Letterboxd watchlist useful! *2026-07-11* Clean design, functional, and a great idea. My only note is that the buttons and links are very small and don’t have enough padding between them, so misclicks happen often. I’m from Chicago and was looking for a Music Box/Siskel type theater and instantly found a bunch! Already went to two movies because of the app(both on my letterboxd watchlist), and I’ve got at least two more planned at the Metrograph. It’s nice they just send you a link to the theaters website. With Fandago neither Music Box or Siskel are listed and you buy tickets through them. Will definitely try this out back in Chicago! This app deserves more love!! We had a show cancel on us due to ill and wanted a movie, but in New York, it’s so hard to compare every Theatre schedule. And now here you are!
