Feel bad giving an average review but as someone that struggles with their mental health this was a difficult experience. I won’t return to the app for a long time or maybe ever. I will finish a chapter, record a pattern, and write some notes then hit the big green check mark but the chapter won’t log as completed, would subscribe but I can’t progress past chapter 1! ### 3/5 — Interesting and Illuminating *2020-10-25, version 1.0.9* I’m enjoying the Paradym app immensely. I have completed the free trial and have moved to a monthly purchase. The chapter topics are well structured and the reflection points are excellent. I have given it a 3 star rating more really because blips in the app impact its effectiveness and this is a costly app compared to some. For instance, I’ve completed three chapters and added my patterns. In the free trial these showed on my home screen. Moving to a subscription, it hasn’t saved my 7 previous days so I’m repeating. content, which is only released daily. That is a pity. In addition, despite saving my patterns, it says, you haven’t added any patterns yet. I wonder if that work covered is lost or will appear at some point. I can’t find a way to get technical help, which would be useful. I am struggling with navigating my way around the site. And the symbols at the bottom, which clearly mean something, aren’t actually any help when you want to locate a specific item to complete an exercise. Positives are many though and I am enjoying new learning and the reflection opportunities. I am more used to the American English accent and I have to be extremely intentional about understanding what they are saying. Sometimes it’s hard for me to understand the speakers,,, if you can get pass lisps and strong accents ,, this app will immensely help you to work on your self awareness,, none of this topics are taught freely somewhere else, like you have to pay for this info,,,, in this app they are condensing lots of information in a practical manner.
