The writing quality has declined, and the new interface is confusing, featuring various icons at the bottom that lack clear labels. Despite my efforts to adapt, the writing has not improved. Additionally, frequent errors require me to reinstall the app, which is frustrating for a paid product. It seems that there are no updates for the app to fix the issues, so I don’t know what’s going on. Someone fix your app. ### 1/5 — Awful!! *2025-04-15, version 3.7.1* Awful company. I tried it to see if I liked it given it said three day free trial. Immediately charged me $149.99 plus tax and declined my request for a refund. This company and app is a total scam and you need to RUN!! They steal your money. Horrendous! Edit: I have followed up 8 times. No resolution. Still out my money. Is this how you do business , you tell me what to email and do but then tell me you can’t do a refund that Apple needs to do it yet Apple says you keep declining my refund . So I’m stuck. Please assist. ### 1/5 — Dishonest as the day is long. *2025-02-16* RUN RUN RUN… please read entire review!!!! Don’t trust their ‘free’ preview because they charge you as soon as you sign up and don’t wait for the preview period to lapse. I cancelled within 2 days because the app didn’t meet my needs. When I got my credit card bill I was surprised to see I was charged the very first day, not after any free trial. I messaged them to dispute the charge and sent screenshots of the charge and received NO RESPONSE. Their auto mated reply said I should receive a response within 3 business days. I patiently waited heard nothing, charge hadn’t been refunded, at the 30 day mark I filed a dispute with my credit card and about 10 days later I finally got a response asking me to withdraw my dispute and offering me a free year. Why would I cancel my dispute? Just refund my money and a dispute would never have been filed. Update: Yes they finally refunded after disputing with my credit card BUT HERE WE ARE IN FEBRUARY AND THEY CHARGED ME AGAIN. I cannot express my disappointment at this company’s lack of integrity. **Developer response:** Hello Bowlbyjcd, we have processed your refund, and it should be returned to your card within 30 days. I've been a paying client since the beginning. No one will help fix this for 3 days?? When contacting support.. I'm in the middle of writing and blocked it's asking to to pay . First it was saying my writing wasn't formatted?? there was an error in formatting I'm like what ?? Huh ? Had my account two years approximate? Come on.. support where are you ? Be aware of data breaches by this company! Law breaking firm.! *2024-12-10, version 3.5.2* Purchased this for one year and thereafter did not want it, now the developers have closed my account so my previous personal data is with them only and I can not access it, please be aware this could be a serious breach of data control. Not recommended !!! The review from developers is they will delete all the data but I wanted to collect my data, which was denied!!! Very bad data controller. Be cautious as the app will just stop your account and will not allow you to download your data! Wasted monies!! Maybe there's is data breach here!!! Will be informing the information commissioner's office of this breach of data and at least they have been recognised as consumer data breaches. There is no excuse to break laws, European, UK or USA. Service is not good as these developers are just interested in money and not customer care and consumer information. Total abuse. I reached out to them for refund (via email, twitter, facebook etc), but no one is responding. I find that I communicate reasonably well in writing if I’ve taken the time to check it over and rewrite it at least once. All too often I find myself trying to edit as I go and in fact losing the type of focus it takes to compose and present a decent thought in text.
