Some time ago we reached out to the Bible Society of India for the permission to display the Telugu Old Version. The Bible Society of India offered the permission for a fee. As a non-profit organization and a developer of the Parallel Plus app that is free of charge and doesn’t include in-app purchases or ads, we normally do not pay a licensing fee for the Bible versions we display. So we have no plans to add the Telugu Old Version to our app in the near future. It’s a great parallel bible app. You can do three translations on vertical view or five in horizontal view. One of its strongest features is the ability to view multiple Bible versions side by side at the same time, which is especially valuable for anyone working with or ministering to multilingual communities—particularly those who read or speak three different languages. What really sets this app apart is the team’s responsiveness and willingness to go beyond standard updates. A great example is the addition of the Haitian Creole Bible version, Bib Sen An. This is a beautifully written and very readable translation that has been a meaningful addition for my use case. After some back-and-forth communication and research, the team worked to get this version integrated within a few months. They stayed in touch throughout and followed through on what they said they would do. Special appreciation goes to Alexander P. for the support and commitment. I don’t know what it is they use but it’s not KJV 1611. Example, see Acts 9:26 or Acts 9:35 and compare. No excuse, the word of God is NOT 99.99% accurate. ### 1/5 — Not as advertised *2025-12-06, version 5.3.1* No Greek or Hebrew translations. Only 2 columns with different versions to compare. The ? and = icons do not work and the support option will not send an email to address any issues with the app. ### 2/5 — Why no KJV? *2025-09-27, version 5.2.2* ? ### 2/5 — Layout issue switching horiz to vert *2025-09-26, version 5.2.2* This review is a long time in coming as when the issue was introduced I was not able to write a review. Since version 5.1.5 thru current version 5.2.2 there is a screen layout bug. Initial staring in vertical mode with two versions is fine, then switching to horizontal mode 4 versions cuts off the outside border two of the four versions. Switching back to vertical mode shows 2 versions plus a small portion of the two versions that were in horizontal mode. In addition when switching back to vertical mode the search icon overlaps the passage reference, making it harder to select either option. ### 2/5 — Not very user friendly *2025-08-12, version 5.2* It is hard to navigate and really research the root words.
