## What is Parallelogram?

Photos with depth.

Pick a photo. Pick a motion. Share. That's the whole app.

Parallelogram turns any image from your library into a looping video where the subject pops out from the background — like a window into the scene. Perfect for posting, sending to friends, or just enjoying on your home screen.

Behind the scenes, the app uses Apple's measured depth from Portrait Mode photos when it's available, or estimates depth on-device for everything else. Your photos never leave your phone.

WHAT YOU CAN DO

Four hand-tuned motion templates — circular orbit, side-to-side pan, up-and-down bob, and a corner-to-corner X path
Drop in caption text with fonts, colors, halo, and shadow — and drag it anywhere on the preview to position
Swap the background for any other image
Pick your export aspect — Source, Square, 9:16 Portrait, or 16:9 Landscape — and the preview reshapes to match
Adjust loop length and number of repetitions
Export and share to Messages, AirDrop, Photos, or any app via the standard share sheet

WHAT'S DIFFERENT

Most apps in this category either require a special camera mode, or they upload your photos to a server for processing. Parallelogram runs entirely on-device. Portrait Mode photos use Apple's measured depth for the sharpest possible results. Everything else uses on-device depth analysis — no account, no network, no exception.

The motion templates aren't generic post-effects; the app reconstructs a small 3D scene from your photo's depth and moves a virtual camera through it, the way a real spatial-photo platform would.
