ParaLogic is the flight logbook built specifically for paragliders. Log flights and ground handling sessions, track your gear, view your stats, and get safety reminders — all in one place. Log in via email code (no password needed) or traditional password. Your choice. --- **LOG FLIGHTS YOUR WAY** Record as much or as little as you like. Most fields are optional. Each flight log captures: • Date, launch site, and duration • Wing, harness, and and reserve used (can be entered seperately or arranged in pre-set kits) • Wind conditions and weather • Vario data — max climb, max sink, max altitude, and max GPS speed • Notes and comments All logs are fully editable. Nothing is locked in. --- **GROUND HANDLING — TRACKED SEPARATELY** Ground handling time doesn't count as airtime, but it does matter for gear wear. Because you start and stop it by hand, a recording normally has a tail at each end - walking to launch, packing up afterwards. It now finds the real takeoff and landing inside the track and offers to trim those off, and offers your launch site and landing field when they are within 150 metres of where you actually took off and landed. Both are optional, and you can still save the whole recording untouched. - Fixed: "Times only" no longer sticks. In the log wizard it used to be remembered, so one flight logged without a track quietly turned tracking off for every flight after it - easy to miss when you are rushing. Every flight now starts on Full tracklog, and Times only applies to that flight alone. - Your wing now keeps its own porosity history. Record each check - the date, the average reading in seconds, and notes on the instrument and samples - and every check is kept, so you can see how the cloth is ageing over the years rather than only the latest figure. A used wing can also carry the flights it flew before you owned it, so a second-hand glider shows its true total, and there is a field for a national aircraft id where your country issues one. - Fixed: leaving the alerts screen with the back button now returns to the More tab. ### 2.0.14 — 2026-08-17 More reliable flight detection, and altitudes you can compare between days. - Your drive is no longer logged as a flight. Automatic detection used to start watching for a takeoff as soon as you were merely near a launch site, so driving past one could be recorded as a flight. Detection now waits until you have actually stopped at launch for three minutes, about the time it takes to lay out and clip in, and the standby screen shows the countdown. An "I'm at launch" button still arms it straight away if you are turning around quickly. - Altitudes are now measured against the terrain rather than the barometer alone. Air pressure drifts through the day and GPS height is noisy, so the same launch flown on two days could read tens of metres apart. Recorded flights are pinned to the mapped ground height at takeoff and landing, which makes altitudes comparable between flights and between days. Existing flights have been updated, so most maximum altitudes moved by around 10 metres. - Fixed: the app could sign you out during a weak connection. That is a problem in the mountains, where signing back in needs an emailed code you cannot receive. ### 2.0.13 — 2026-08-17 Share a flight in 3D, and log airtime without times. - Share a flight in 3D (Pro): create a link to one of your recorded flights and send it to anyone. They watch it in the 3D player in their browser, with no account and no sign-in. Sharing does not make the flight public - a private flight stays private everywhere else, only the date, sites and track are shown, and you can turn the link off at any time. - Log airtime without times: entering a flight from memory, you can now just enter how long you flew instead of the launch and landing times. Works for ground handling sessions too, and when editing an existing log. - Importing an IGC file now checks the date, launch time and duration as well as the location, lists exactly what differs from your log before anything changes, and tells you if the same track is already on another flight. - More accurate launch sites on auto-detected flights: the takeoff point is now taken from where your speed first crossed the threshold rather than where detection confirmed it a few seconds later. - Easier to leave Tandem Pro and Instant Flight - the exit button is now clearly a button. - Your launch-site breakdown now covers all your flying, not only tandem flights. ### 2.0.11 — 2026-08-13 Fixes missed flights during a tandem day. - Tandem Pro: flights after the first one of the day could go unrecorded. Between flights the app briefly stopped its background location updates, and iOS suspended it in that gap, so the next takeoff was not detected until the app was opened again. Location updates now stay active for the whole tandem day. - The tandem screen now warns if background location is ever not running, instead of appearing healthy while asleep. - Minor fixes and polish. ### 2.0.10 — 2026-08-12 Import flight tracks recorded on other instruments. - Import an IGC file into any flight in your logbook: open the flight, tap Edit, and choose a file from your device or paste a link.
