**Developer response:** This app only provides results when there is a real solution. No "real" solution means that the result would be a complex number. Complex numbers are not supported because there would be an infinite amount of results. Another limitation is that the result for "B" and "D" are calculated as integers. Otherwise there would be an infinite amount of incomprehensible results. For a better understanding how the app works try the predefined input example from the history function. To show that the predefined input example is not a hacky fake, here are some more possible inputs that lead to a result: a = 8; b = 2; c = -3 a = 1; b = 2; c = 1 a = 1; b = -3; c = -10 But Factoring Quadratic Trinomials follows a self-invented algorithm that usually is not part of common school lectures. It doesnt give you answers nor does it help you understand.

**Developer response:** I am sorry that the usage is not clear enough. This app only provides results when there is a real solution. No "real" solution means that the result would be a complex number. Complex numbers are not supported because there would be an infinite amount of results.

There were some major fixes and adjustments for a more stable behaviour of the solution storage and loading. Therefore some database changes were made in the background. There are no performance losses and the functionality does not change. The background tasks are only done once within milliseconds. Following behaviour may occur (only temporary):
- stored calculations have to be tapped twice to load fully
- the order of the stored solutions may change

If there are some losses of solutions do not hesitate to contact me and tell me the number of lost solutions + affected app. I will find a solution for this.
