The app is functional in that you can view live and recorded footage from the cameras. But simple features like a “pause” button to pause recording while hosting a patio dinner? Nope. View alarms? Yes, but it’s like 6 button presses in incredibly obtuse menus to view them. Want to setup alarm zones on a camera or screen off certain recording zones? You can but you’ll need to dig into technical docs found elsewhere on the web to do this. Literally the most user unfriendly app I’ve ever used. Crazy, overly complex and seems to have been designed for installers, not end users. It is what it is….just know what you are getting if this is part of your home camera monitoring solution. ### 3/5 — play back download *2026-07-02, version 1.17.0* always fails. always device offline error in the app yet the device is running smoothly and is hard wired to esthernet ### 3/5 — Motion Alert Notifications *2025-10-01, version 1.16.5* Still get tons of motion, alert notifications on my doorbell camera, even though I have gone into the settings of the doorbell camera to turn those off as well as gone into my push settings and turned motion notification off. I’ve never had this issue with any other cameras except the doorbell ones. I have had several calls with tech support and can’t seem to find a resolution. It would also be nice to be able to remotely update firmware and edit the settings of the doorbell camera through the app, without having to get a laptop or a desktop computer. ### 2/5 — App stopped providing push notifications!!! *2024-05-13* App suddenly stopped providing push notifications and no changes were made to the settings. This is unacceptable! ### 2/5 — iOS bugs *2024-04-05, version 1.13.5* App not working correctly with Apple devices. When opening notifications on the iOS Lock Screen the message displayed is device offline. Once the device offline message disappears you may be able to playback the alert. In some instances when accessing the notification from the Lock Screen it goes straight in and just buffers. It may take 30 seconds or more to playback the alert. This has been tested on an iPad running iOS 15 and iPhone running iOS 17. Seems to work fine on an android device running version 13. Please fix this as I am an integrator and this is annoying to customers. Thanks. ### 1/5 — App crashes *2023-09-19, version 1.12.0* Unable to watch any live or recorded footage. I have all options checked in correctly to receive updates. Everything I need is right in front of me. The playback and the analytics work phenomenally and the in-depth attribute searching is a huge plus. Playback is very simple, grid designs are easy to access. As long as you have a good internet connections on both ends it works great.
