Sorry but the main story was WAY too short. The bonus game wasn’t much longer. The puzzles weren’t challenging and the animations looked clunky like the game came out 10 years ago. It’s like you couldn’t be bothered anymore. Did your contract run out or something? What a way to wrap up the series. Such a pity.

To go from one scene to the next takes a tad too long. This has happened to a couple of games and sorry but it ruins for me if I have to sit there watching the elephant and it’s circle go round and round. Not sure I want to purchase a game like that at the present time. It needs sorting.

I really enjoyed the addictive and unusual gameplay and inventory usage. However, there were elements of the game that I did not like: the cartooonish cut-scenes, the developer’s poor grasp of the English language, having to read so many confusing notes and dialogue, the interminable load times between locations, and searching for those extremely minute eyes. The alternate universe storyline was original and unique, but it was unclear at times. Still and all, there was a decent mix of HO scenes and mini-games, and although many were my least favorite (rotational), somehow I managed to complete most of them. The problem was that even after the update, some of the mini-games, especially in the bonus adventure, were impossible to manipulate and there were touchscreen sensitivity issues. I may not have loved this game as much as previous installments but I liked it, despite the glitches. Yet, due to such poor quality assurance, my final rating will be 3 stars.

I just downloaded the game and already it shows black screen. I deleted it a couple of times and still black blank screen big disappointment.

Like many of the other players posting reviews, I always wait several months for the bugs to be shaken out before I play a new Elephant game. This one shaped up pretty good. It’s not perfect but that’s usually the case in the best of circumstances. I thought the story was pretty well thought out — there weren’t a lot of continuity errors and we did finally get our Rick back. I hope we’ll see more Paranormal Files games in the future. I will add I fully expected, since Anna Gray showed up, that the grandmaster would turn out to be her father Richard. Sorry to say I was wrong. That would’ve been a fun connection.

The game searches for over a minute between scenes, when switching to another area it just freezes and I have to again wait until it restarts.

I’m enjoying the puzzles and game, but the long loading time between scenes is rather puzzling. I was used to long loading times a few years ago, but not now with advances in technology. It just is an annoyance.

I initially rated a 1 star because it just stopped working very soon into the game I’d paid for. They finally fixed it and I was able to complete. I’m glad that the gameplay seems to be a return to their superior early games. It was, however, very short. When I buy a game I expect it to be around the same length as the previous ones. I am, like I said, happy to see they’re giving a little more effort. Let’s hope they keep it up because Elephant went from being the best iOS hidden object adventure developer to the worst overnight. Because let’s face it, domini games blow. Repetitive, really dumb mini games, just a bore altogether. And now domini has taken to releasing “episodes” that are tiny bits at very high prices. Stupid. So, if elephant can keep up good work and improve - the iOS market is all theirs.
