It needs to be updated so it will work on ios 11. iCloud will not download the app to my iphone now that it is ios 11, I’m afraid I’m going to lose my recordings. Would be nice if there was a way to transfer the recordings to my computer some how. It had an occasional glitch while listening to the recordings on continuous play with the start/stop button. Please update, I really don’t want to lose my really clear class A EVP’s. ### 2/5 — Bad app *2018-02-13* No update ### 4/5 — Crashed *2017-05-04* My app has crashed and won't open ? ### 1/5 — Not a happy bloke *2016-04-02* Beware, paid for but didn't download, you have been warned, avoid ### 1/5 — Nope *2016-02-05, version 4.06* It won't download (iPad 4). The only reason I give 1 star is because I have to in order to submit this. I'd like a refund, or the problem to be resolved. ### 1/5 — Can't Download *2016-01-26, version 4.06* Can't download on iPad Air 2 ### 1/5 — :( *2016-01-26* Paid for it won't download. ### 1/5 — Waste of money! *2015-12-06, version 4.06* Just spent 3 dollars and I can't even download it. Refund my money plz or fix it! ### 1/5 — Does not work on 6s *2015-10-24, version 4.06* Does not work on 6s. The needle is pinned to max. ### 3/5 — 50/50 *2015-10-18, version 4.06* The good: it DID in fact record voices when we went to Rolling Hills Asylum... Quite a few. The Bad: initially it played back fine... However, the next morning the app is stuck on Stop - and frozen.. I can't hear anything- no playback is available! ### 1/5 — Bad *2015-10-11, version 4.06* Says there is a recording then erases it. Cant connect to Sound Cloud. I am just going to buy a real EVP and the EMF meter doesnt work. The only app that has a real EMF is iEMF+ in the app store. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — No update *2018-07-04, version 4.06* So I buy this app and there has not been no update so now I can’t use it with the 11 iOS ...any chance I get a refund or update the app please ### 1/5 — Used to work good. Not anymore. *2018-01-14, version 4.06* I paid for this app but since you guys obviously just took the money and ran you’re not going to update it to work with iOS 11. I had a few very clear class A EVP’s on here and now I’ll never hear them again unless you update your app. Please fix it so it’s compatible. ### 1/5 — Paranormal Recorder *2018-01-12, version 4.06* NO LONGER APPLICABLE on iPhone/IOS 11 Apple products. Fun while it lasted. ### 1/5 — Doesn't Download *2017-06-12* This app doesn't download onto my iPad as per other reviews. Have this on my old iPhone and it's good. Tried to contact support but the link takes you nowhere. Suspect these folks might have folded but are still taking money for a defunct app. DO NOT PURCHASE! SAVE YOUR MONEY! ### 1/5 — Will NOT DOWNLOAD PLEASE REFUND!!!! *2016-11-26, version 4.06* I've tried for way over an hour and even deleted and reinstalled, but to no avail. Update Ap or refund!!! ### 1/5 — Paid for this app and WILL NOT DOWNLOAD. *2016-10-14* WILL NOT DOWNLOAD 😬😠😤 ### 1/5 — Paranormal recorder *2016-09-18, version 4.06* Purchased the app but are unable to use it since always shows in the cloud.Unable to download. Thanks 😔 ### 1/5 — Not impressed ! *2016-08-30* A friend and I both paid for this app ... Cannot get it to download .... What's this all about please ! ### 1/5 — Really want to use but..... *2016-07-31, version 4.06* I purchased and it will NOT download. It starts and goes through the process but then it's just not there. When I look in the App Store it has the cloud and arrow beside it. I would like my money back if it's not going to work. Maybe don't include the iPad Air 2 as compatible iPads if it doesn't work with it! ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Very good app *2017-12-15, version 4.06* I found this app to be very good, just a shame it hasn’t been updated in such a long time. Especially since I now can’t use it on my phone. Please, please update this app so I can continue using it. ### 5/5 — Congress Plaza *2016-11-01, version 4.06* We will be trying this out here tonight on the fourth floor of the south tower. America's most "haunted" hotel. ### 5/5 — Class "A" EVP captured with this app!😱 *2016-10-20, version 4.06* I consider my self sensitive I had downloaded this app sometime ago due to activity in our home. I was alone and started feeling increased heart rate, drop in temperature, goosebumps, chest heaviness, shortness of breath. I became very on edge/anxious die to the Symptoms I was experiencing; this made no sense to me because I was lying on the couch relaxing. I turned the app on and started asking general Investigative questions, about 2 minutes in I received a class "A" EVP replying to my questions asked. "EVERYTHING" it was my first EVP and it was caught on this app and a class "A" The meter also had a significant decrease at the same time the EVP was captured. Becareful because you never know who or what you are talking with and the more you interact with them and they know you can hear them ect. the stronger experiences good and bad/evil can occur. ### 5/5 — Won't download... *2016-05-22, version 4.06* I bought this app and it won't download, it acts like it does but then nothing happened. Any ideas why? ### 5/5 — Scary *2016-04-25, version 4.06* I downloaded this app and then 20 seconds later the blankets fell off a high place in my house and then a picture shook itself and put itself back into the regular position ### 5/5 — A Great App *2016-03-17, version 4.06* This app seems to work, but I had to uninstall it and now cannot re-install it. Help! ### 5/5 — Excellent *2015-08-23, version 4.06* I used this for an investigation at Waverly Hills Sanatorium & caught several EVPS & a disembodied voice. (I was also grabbed hard & I was the skeptic). Beware of hokey other apps. This one is great! Easy on battery life as well. Very impressed. ### 5/5 — Does not work *2015-08-22* App doesn't work. Only records for a few seconds. I would like my money back ### 5/5 — R *2015-06-21* It works. Exactly what strange noises I thought I heard going on in my house at night and only when the EMF readings high. ### 5/5 — PARANORMAL RECORDER *2015-03-03, version 4.06* This is the first review I've written and am only doing it because of how WONDERFUL this app is. The EVP recorder is BETTER than my digital recorder. I'll use them side by side and this app routinely records more than my digital recorder. It helps BIG TIME to use a good set of headphones when playing back your recordings. I skipped a ton of great EVPs at first because I didn't realize what the headphones brought out. The bad reviews I've seen here have to b from people not using the app correctly. I've been ghost hunting for years and have used lots of different tools, and I promise ya that if there r any EVPs to b gotten, this is the app that'll get them. Listen to ur recordings many times over or you WILL miss some, and u also have to 'learn' to hear EVP's because they don't stand out like any other sounds. --- *Data collected daily from the US App Store and indexed by [AppsHunter](https://appshunter.io/).
