This app is a great  tool for navigating the Parathyroid surgery process from consultation to post surgery! This app answered all the questions I had but also those of my family! I wish all medical procedures had an app like this for patients! I’m sure it lessens the number of questions via phone calls to the physicians also.
Only thing to be mindful of is that regardless of what the app says, follow your surgeons’ written instructions first and foremost.

Whether you have hyperparathyroidism or not, likely you will know someone who does (and may not know) this app and the associated website parathyroid.com provide valuable education. 

The app covers everything you need to know about parathyroid surgery and demystifies it - even if you go somewhere else than Norman’s Parathyroid Center (but that is where you should go if you can).

If you’re having parathyroid issues this app is an excellent tool. I cannot tell you how many times I referred to it, both before and after my surgery. Even if you’re unsure that you need surgery, it gives excellent information.
