I can’t find anything online about the hardware in the Parcel Guard. I wish companies were more careful about discontinuing cloud services by open source hardware access their products to not make them complete useless for buyers. Unfortunately it’s not the case and this is just a last remain of another bad cloud based product that has died. ### 1/5 — No longer supported! *2024-11-29* Was good while it lasted but alas Danby no longer supports the app and the app no longer works. So the features that made the parcel box are a bust! J’ai essayé l’application sur un Androïde et l’application bien que lente fonctionne. Alors SVP mettez l’application à jour pour iPad et IPhone et si la boîte fonctionne correctement je réviserai mes commentaires. Cannot connect easily Cannot choose burn code in the app since some numbers dont work, only numbers 1-2-3-4 can be used for code.Unable to add anymore scheduled deliveries. Useless app. ### 1/5 — Great hardware, painfully unreliable application *2024-01-23, version 3.2* This is such a great concept, but this app seems neglected at best and needs an overhaul. Connection to the device works rarely, accounts have permissions added and revoked frequently, even changing menus sometimes takes minutes while the app tries to load. This makes the device a very expensive lockbox and not much more. If you are buying for the smart elements, look elsewhere. The parcel guard itself is however well designed and feature rich. Developers don’t seem to keep up to date with their app. Half the time you can’t log into the app without getting an error message. I would not recommend buying this product. I see I’m logged in but the app does not see my Parcel Guard box anymore. I cannot access any of the settings. I cannot add a new box. I cannot even log out! This app was already a nightmare to use. Sluggish, buggy, very slow video response time, huge video lag… Now it’s not even working anymore. The last app update is from 2 years ago. So, clearly Danby does not support their Parcel Guard product anymore. It’s great for air bnb when you want to keep control of your mail. It’s like having a ring mailbox. I think there are some design issues. It’s hard to get the box flush to the wall because of the power cord.
