I say “there was a time..” because the time has come to say “GOODBYE!” For what this app offers now, after the last update, google maps offers more - and doesn’t charge ANYTHING for more!!! There has even been an uprising of other apps that offer more than this one. Used to be my go-to app. Now it’s my go-away app. ### 1/5 — Charging a subscription for public information *2025-03-10, version 5.3.2* What a complete joke of an app. Now charging for public formation. Owner’s name is publicly available through county tax records and this app used to make it easier to see that info (useful to me as a locksmith, especially when doing verifying ID during a lockout). Now can’t even see property owners names without paying for a subscription at a steep price of 100$ per year or 10$ a month. Not worth it in my eyes. Apparently not enough people were paying for the high end features so the developer decided that all features should be behind the paywall. Why can’t I see the buildings on the properties in other areas than my immediate area? I try to click on the satellite view on the app and the app takes me back to my property. Just so I knew what was city owned property versus private property. I required no other information. Now, everything is behind a pay wall for $99/year. I totally understand paying for private property information, which is usually still public information but a pain to acquire. But, I’m not paying for any information about city/gov’t owned property.
