It provides countless functions and customization options, making it a comprehensive platform for both educators and families. From a parent’s perspective, the app is very user-friendly and easy to navigate. Parents can quickly access updates, messages, attendance records, photos, and payment information, making it a convenient way to stay connected with the centre. From a management perspective, however, there is a learning curve. Due to the large number of features and settings available, it may take some time to become familiar with the platform, and certain functions can initially feel a bit complex or tricky to use. With regular use, though, it becomes much easier to manage. Overall, we enjoy using this app and find it to be a valuable addition to our child care operations. In Canada there is legislation that the children need to be outside one hour in the morning and one hour in the afternoon. I would like status updates of when child is going outside and returning inside to ensure this is not being neglected nor abused by having them out longer than they should/not going out at all. **Developer response:** Thank you for your feedback and for sharing this suggestion. Imagine clueless parents asking the same question over and over again - 60 times a day and you cannot silence it. My kid walks to the facility but the app says “he just got on a bus” or “he just got off a bus”. Imagine that the first day with no warning from staff. Also the app ask within the app to update constantly but I use Apple and updates must come from the App Store. The limitations and glitches clearly make this app the worst app I’ve used for this purpose in probably the last 10 years. When I click on the “your child has been tagged in a photo” under notifications, the photo won’t load. Thank you for your feedback. ### 4/5 — Helpful and Committed to Improving *2025-12-24* One of our Parents in our cooperative preschool did some research and thought Parent App would best fit our program. One priority was to be able to receive payments in Canada on the app. Some of the other Day Care Apps could only accept payment in USA. Since we started using the app a few years ago I have always had amazing support through the team there to help and answer any questions. Since I feel we are just scratching the surface with the app I believe there is a ton more to learn. I’ve had two people who have helped me personally with any challenges and they will meet face to face with me (virtually) as soon as we are both available. Bob and Maram both deserve 5 stars! They have an enormous amount of patience and seem to love a challenge. They try their absolute best to solve any issues and if they cant solve it they will send a request to their “behind the scenes” tech people. One last positive point is that if there is something you don’t like about the app or if you would like the app to do something, you can make the suggestion and the programmers will usually be able to make it happen. This UI/UX change is worse than what it was previously. Push notifications from messages often just don’t get delivered (this happens on other platforms as well, so that’s a backend problem). But when viewing the pictures, please put a “gallery” option instead of swiping through. Our customers who are families love the daily updates of their kids. The user experience is great. Den Mehrwert sehe ich eher bei der Kita-Leitung als bei den Eltern. Für mich als Mama von zwei Kindern wäre es schöner, wenn am Tablett in der Kita mit meinem Pincode beide Kinder auf einmal eingecheckt werden.
