Curious what it did and the update was supposed to be for iPhone X. They have frequent get together and now are active in the peninsula as well. The community is supportive, diverse, and respectful. Also, I like that everyone on there is a parent (der) so you can post as many kid/family related things you want and everyone "gets" it--unlike other social media platforms where you know you're probably going to cause a few eye rolls on your third parenting related post in a day. Ha. Although I stick to the discussion threads, there are also activities and meet-ups on there so 'Hooders can get together and get to know each other IRL, too. AND, a classifieds section where you can sell your gear to others. It's rad, ok? As a parent with very little support system (no local family or friends with kids), this app has been a tremendous help in getting through the day to day. Being able to ask a question, to know others are going through the same thing, is incredibly useful. I don't feel like I'm alone when I have so many other parents ready to offer their support or advice. As a parent, yes, you're going to talk about things like diapers, poo, spit up, and many others. It's part of the experience (and if you don't, well, good for you, I guess).
