### 5/5 — Better Dad formerly known as Ok Dad

*2025-04-08, version 2.0.3*

I don’t know about you, but my kids didn’t come with instructions, so this app might just be the next best thing. Nigel makes it sound easy, but the app gives you all the tools to do that parenting thing. Give it a hoon.

### 5/5 — Awesome👍🏼

*2019-07-09, version 1.0*

As a teacher I look forward to encouraging parents to use this app. Can’t wait to see what is to come 🤗

### 5/5 — Great start

*2019-07-08, version 1.0*

Great start to the app, looking forward to it developing. My 2 boys love the ladder of doom so far. They had fun picking their characters, and moved quickly when I said I would get out the ladder of doom. It’s a good tool we can use.

### 5/5 — Love the ladder!

*2019-07-08, version 1.0*

We’ve used the ladder of dome and many more of Nigel’s tips & tricks for years (that’s why we’re on first name basis!)
Great practical advice that works. Keeping it simple and keeping parents sane since way back. Can’t wait to see how this app progresses Thumbs up!

### 5/5 — Love the ladder of doom

*2019-07-08, version 1.0*

Great concept, love all the info on the app and that it’s not just focused on ‘positive parenting’, life is not always positive and we need to teach our kids resilience. The ladder of doom within a week has seen big positive changes in our kids! One night our 8 year old lost a lot of time and had to go to bed at 4.15pm, was only allowed out for dinner & toilet. Funny thing was the next day he and his sister were very eager to earn back the time and the house was spotless! They did their ‘earn back’ jobs without hesitation. MAGIC!

### 5/5 — Love the Ladder of Doom!

*2019-07-07*

Wow! This had an immediate impact on my two (aged nine and four).

They (like pretty much every kid in the universe) loathe going to bed so this is definitely their currency.

I can’t wait to see what else is in store.

Thank you.

### 5/5 — The start of something transformational

*2019-07-07, version 1.0*

An extremely positive start for one of our best communicators: charismatic, humorous and almost universally loved.

I’m greatly looking forward to Nigel, and his team of dedicated professionals, giving practical, researched and effective advice to everyone dealing with something they don’t always feel capable of handling themselves.

Can’t wait, and will happily invest / buy / support this venture as it grows and expands over time.

### 1/5 — Try Nathan Wallis instead

*2019-07-05, version 1.0*

Anything which starts with the totally child un-friendly ‘ladder of doom’ tool shows its true colours. Parenting is all about connection. Bedtime is about cuddles, security, warmth - not punishment and doom. Read Alfie Kohn ‘rewards and punishment’ for a true picture of what this kind of system will do for your relationship with your child and their ability to self regulate and have intrinsic motivation. Read ‘what mothers do when it looks like nothing at all’ for a beautiful view on how to follow your baby. Not an app with ‘clinical’ info that advocates bribing and punishing children to make them obey. Google respectful parenting - reading nothing and simply following your heart is better than this ugly tool. Avoid.

### 3/5 — How long more

*2021-04-19, version 1.0.1*

Hi there, I can see that the app was last updated more than a year ago and as promised in the earlier reviews there is no updated version yet. Is there a timeline of when the updated app will be here ?

### 4/5 — When is the full app being launched?

*2022-10-09, version 1.0.1*

We’re waiting with baited breath!

### 4/5 — When is it finished??

*2022-04-08, version 1.0.1*

Great sounding app but when will try full app be available ?

### 4/5 — Yes more please!

*2021-04-23, version 1.0.1*

Like Grateful Spud love the concept and the ladder of doom but please where is the rest?? Desperately in need of more advice around tricky behaviours - both mine and my child’s! Please when?

### 4/5 — More please

*2020-08-08, version 1.0.1*

I love the concept. But 1 year after release there really isn’t much advice in here. You can track the Ladder of Doom which is great but I haven’t worked out how to share with the other parent in the house. If that is fixed it would be good to be able to make notes so only the other knows why there has been a change - to avoid double ups in a busy house.

More please.

### 4/5 — Great app

*2019-09-08, version 1.0.1*

Handy to use when behaviour is related to child being tired. Can we link apps from mum’s phone to dad’s phone?

### 4/5 — Notification problem

*2019-07-13, version 1.0.1*

Loving the app. Helping us so much. Just one problem. The notifications don’t go off all the time, meaning we miss the bedtime unless I’m aware of the time.

### 5/5 — Solid advice, that's easy to follow

*2025-04-29, version 2.0.4*

There's plenty of material out there that tells you a version of how to be the perfect parent. But most of us just need an occasional prompt - in plain language - to help us mostly get it right. If that sounds like what you need, I recommend this app.

### 5/5 — Great value

*2025-04-20, version 2.0.4*

How can this only be $1.25 per week?! This is an amazing app. Personalized and useful.

### 5/5 — Amazing resource.

*2025-04-12, version 2.0.3*

This app is fantastic. Lots of solid content. The TQ10 quiz is super helpful. The gameplans are practical and personalized and the tools are great. We have a picky eater and the Food Range Diary is just what we needed.

### 5/5 — Expert advice

*2025-04-11, version 2.0.3*

Super to have personalised advice from an expert like Nigel Latta at the click of a button.

### 5/5 — Interactive, easy to use, awesome features!

*2025-04-09, version 2.0.3*

I love this app already! It’s fun to use and makes parenting so much easier. I will be able to plan more efficiently while co-parenting so we both are on the same page. I enjoy the psychological aspects and the art throughout the app is so funny and fun! 10/10, I can’t wait to move forward with the support of this app.

### 5/5 — Love the app!

*2025-04-08, version 2.0.3*

Loving the app. It’s easy to use with some really useful information, advice and tips on a wide range of parenting issues. What is really great is that it is personalized to how you parent and your child’s personality. Some really cool tools too.
