Can’t delete notifications from a year ago. I have this giant red exclamation point I can’t get rid of. Have to select each message FROM LAST YEAR to delete messages THEN go to trash and select EACH MESSAGE AGAIN to actually delete it. ### 1/5 — Terrible! *2026-08-08* I can supposedly get logged in but the screen is so zoomed in and frozen that I can’t do anything else and it is only on my phone. Makes it hard to get in to see my kids grades and stuff when I’m not near a computer. I have uninstalled the app multiple times and reinstalled to no avail. The old app was much better, this new one is terrible. ### 1/5 — Zero stars *2026-08-07, version 1.9* This app has to be deleted and old versions brought back. It takes at least 30 seconds to load new window. Irritating spinning wheel instead of getting to the point and documents. Icons for 2 year olds, instead of normal view, feels like I’m looking at child's Ipad with games. Whoever approved it for usage must be fired. No parental qt code anymore. Have no idea how to find now my kid’s registration status. Absolutely annoying app. Just waste of school money and taxpayer’s money. Update. Today I waited two minutes looking at spinning wheel to open student info. It never did. GPA keep on disappearing and middle school instead of current high school GPA was shown..why?! No events , however it was part two registration. There is nothing works in this app! ### 1/5 — This app doesn’t work *2026-08-07, version 1.9* It sucks. The old app worked totally fine, this app doesn’t. Online verification screen keeps showing up as blank and adding random things. App crashes frequently. When switching from one item to the next, a box pops up and says “ParentVUE” every single time you click on something. Some items never open up. This app is terrible ### 1/5 — NEVER WORKS! *2026-08-06* Every time I have ever tried to open this app after receiving a notification, I’m logged out. When I log in it says my credentials are wrong. Even if I copy and paste it. Then my account gets locked out. This has happened EVERY TIME I have tried to use the app. I can’t see my kids grades or do residency verification or email teachers or see mailings. I keep missing dates and things that I need!!! It is infuriating. The new version of the app does the same thing. I have complaints about the functionality of the app itself as well but I can’t even login so what’s the point of even mentioning the rest? ### 1/5 — Absolutely RANCID *2026-08-05* I had to use this app for my son and it was horrible. The app said Tim had a 76%, and I spent 30 minutes checking and rechecking my math when his grade really was an 84%, and I was really proud of him for speaking up about a critically unprofessional organization. Base 44 looking ahh app lol false review but I have had improper grades that haven’t matched the assignments and I’m taking college math. The app is also really slow and I hate how I click off of a single class and it sends me back to the large menu or whatever it’s called ### 1/5 — Unreadable Text *2026-08-05, version 1.9* So much of the text in this app was unreadable when activating my kids for the new school year. It just blended in to the background. Maybe only affects phones in dark mode. ### 1/5 — GUI is terrible (design) *2026-08-05* The graphic interface is absolutely terrible. It is difficult to read and difficult to navigate. It’s the kind of app that you end up with when a bunch of amazing programmers Try to design the interface. Please involve someone who knows how to design GUIs from the end user perspective. It may have new functions, but I would not trade them for the new “look” . Graphically, I would compare it to someone deciding to put the dishwasher, the toilet toilets, the tub and kitchen sink all on the room because “it makes sense to put all those things where the pipes are.” ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Needs lots of work… *2026-08-18* This is the new version of the app my kids school uses… first making an account and logging in was extremely stressful, then going through to resetting passwords is just a headache. This app is underdeveloped, hard to navigate, you can’t make any changes or edit documents even though it gives the option to. you cannot upload anything on your student profile either. The online registration part is flawed and delayed on the parents end and the teachers end. Even the synergy website login is difficult and underdeveloped. Definitely not a ready to use platform in my opinion. Since my school district has already swapped from using skyward which i loved and was easy to operate… i don’t think anyone tested the synergy platform out before making the change. PLEASE WORK OUT THE KINKS! ### 1/5 — Terrible App *2026-08-14* Every time I try to login I receive error messages about wrong credentials and now Im told my acct was deactivated. When I was able to open the app I could view almost everything but the email messages. It would time out when trying to access them. I received an email a few weeks ago to download the new app which is still this but same dumb errors. ### 1/5 — Slow and not working properly *2026-08-12* Unfortunately, the new version of the app is very slow and frustrating to use. Many of the options and buttons are not responding when I tap them, and I’m unable to access the features I need. The previous version worked much better. I’m happy. ### 5/5 — Works For Me *2025-11-18* I saw this app had bad reviews but I tried it and I am not experiencing any issues so I thought I would give it a good review. I like how the grades and assignments pages are easier to read now. Thanks. ### 4/5 — Easy log in *2026-08-16* Can’t give it 5 stars yet as I just downloaded the new app today. I had no issues logging with my previous log info. It was actually easier to log in than the previous version. The navigation part of the app doesn’t seem too complicated just different than the previous versions, but look pretty self explanatory. ### 4/5 — Watch out! The color selection kicks you out. *2025-11-20* I looked for a way to send feedback, but there is no contact info on the app. Maybe put that in the settings and you will get better ratings. When I tried to change the color of the Tiles the screen would go to my main phone screen and I would have find the app and start over. I was never able to change the Blue or any color to another hue. This needs fixed. ### 3/5 — Average *2026-07-23* This app is easy to navigate but sending emails to teachers is a struggle as the teachers always say they did not receive an email from me. The grades display is good- when it does properly show grades. Overall this app does ok, but has some things to improve on. ### 3/5 — Repetitive Notifications *2026-03-24, version 1.8* I have push notifications enabled but for every notification that comes through, it comes 5 times, one right after the other. ### 3/5 — Organization is better but some features don’t work *2025-12-06* I like the layout of this app better, but when I tried to access the notification settings it won’t scroll down to access anything below the first option even though the next setting text is visible. ### 2/5 — Painfully and fatally slow *2026-08-14* Forced to start using this newer version for my child’s school. It’s slow to the point of inefficiency and significant frustration and trying to do anything on the app. It will take 5 full minutes to be able to log in and navigate to one function. It’s going to be problem for sure. ### 2/5 — Can’t get logged in. *2026-08-13* My kids school uses this app. It’s new apparently. I can’t get it to log me in. It always says my account is disabled. I’ve contacted the school via email and they helped me some. Still can’t get access to the app. So I’ve just saved the school website on my home page of my phone. Very frustrating. I can access my kids school info via the website but not the app. At least I can still see their school info and all. ### 2/5 — This new app SUCKS *2026-07-22, version 1.9* This is my first time switching to this new app, and I already do not like it. I'm not sure why districts are opting for this new app. It is poorly organized, and now I'm not sure how I'm supposed to excuse my student. Making it harder for me. This app is now slow and hard to see, whereas in the old app everything was in order.
