This invariably happens during drop off when I am in a hurry. I don’t know if it is my nursery but I often done get sound with the videos. It would be nice to be able to export the learning stories and snapshots to pdf so I can have a proper record of my child’s development outside of the app. ### 4/5 — Good app *2026-07-14, version 3.63.0* It’s a good helpful app, but it would be helpful if when there are comments made, you could reply and the person could then see them and respond back. It would be helpful if the photos were dated. And it would be good if the login page had different names for each setting. Great notifications also. I have a profile picture of me & each child so I know which account is which child. There are the following issues with the app from using it for the passed six months: •you can download the photos you receive from nursery through the app onto your phone but you cannot do this for Videos! •notification badges do not sync with what you have read unless you open each notification, if you have two or three and open one of the notifications and scroll down the timeline to see all three you still have two notification badges on the app. After six months I have 442 notifications on my app icon! I do not find it user friendly at all, everything is all over the place, even when you try and filter through it. I have had experience with another nursery app, which I found to be a lot better and miss the ease of it. Face ID used to work, which made it slightly less annoying, but now fails with ‘Input data validation failed’. I get the tick from iOS but I don't get logged in. ### 2/5 — Design flaws *2025-10-30, version 3.55.0* The app itself is ok to use day to day, buggy from time to time, the big issue is that there’s no way to bulk download the photos so if you don’t do it as you go along it becomes impossible. A couple of years ago you could scroll through photos easily and download them in seconds. Now the photos take ages to load as you scroll, and every single photo you want to save needs individual permission. The download button itself often takes so long to appear. Waiting for photos to upload is just as painful. ### 1/5 — Deleted data and uncontactable *2026-07-15, version 3.63.0* I wanted to keep my child’s learning journey at nursery. Printed and to be kept. However, the nursery setting couldn’t get the app to work to allow me to download my data. They tried contacting the company. I wrote a form requesting my right for data. All ignored. I’ve tried for 2 years! That’s how bad it is. ### 1/5 — Photo loading / download *2026-07-07, version 3.63.0* The time it takes to load a single photo then the lottery you take on trying to download a photo is actually ridiculous. It can take 5+ mins to download 5 photos and even then it downloads two of the same photo rather than the one you clicked on. It has got so much worse ### 1/5 — App fault *2026-05-06, version 3.61.0* I am Constantly getting issues with this app and the screen becomes jumpy this does not happen on any others app. I have reinstalled which fixed it previously however it now continues despite reinstalling ### 1/5 — Please Stop Asking for Reviews *2026-02-12, version 3.59.0* Fed up of being constantly asked if I’m liking the app and if I want to leave feedback which then logs me out of the app. I do like it, I love having a way to keep in touch with the nursery and seeing what’s going on in my daughters day but this has bothered me so much it’s compelled me to leave this review. ### 1/5 — App Keeps Logging Me Out *2025-09-16, version 3.54.1* The app keeps logging me out and doesn’t save my password either meaning I have to enter my password and log back in several times a day. So frustrating for something so basic to not be addressed. I have requested the daycare go back to using Famly because the features and communication functionalities are so much better. I can’t even message the daycare using Parentzone. Its looks and functions are very basic in comparison. ### 1/5 — Please fix “remember me” *2025-07-23, version 3.52.0* Could you please fix the “Remember Me” function? We have to enter our password every time, which is really frustrating. ### 1/5 — No audio to videos *2025-05-27, version 3.49.0* It’s been a month or so that I’m unable to have audio playing when watching videos- tried a different phone too but same result ### 1/5 — Ongoing bugs *2025-05-13, version 3.48.0* I have registered with the app via the link provided by my child’s care producer, and have set up password/Face ID. The app then works for a few hours, then when I go to open it again it says email/password incorrect, and faceID no longer works. The forgotten password link also doesn’t work. I have deleted/reinstalled the app, the nursery have deleted and re-added my profile several times, and the same issue happens each time. I also still get notifications through to say if a new meal/sleep has been added, but I am unable to get into the app to view.
