Your information is used by Parking Enforcement to verify that you have made a payment to park. Parkmobile is just one of the many payment options that you have. The pay stations, meters and kiosk that you see on site are owned and maintained by the City that you are parking in and provides you with additional payment options. ### 1/5 — Different pricing *2018-10-08, version 8.1* The price on the app and at the kiosk are different. That would be understandable if it were because of convenience. However, the kiosk was not operating properly, thus forcing folks to use the app at a higher cost. As a heads up Charlotte @ college & 3rd (Lot 4556) is currently not accepting cards. **Developer response:** Thank you for the feedback! The pay stations, meters and kiosks are owned and maintained by the City that you are parking in and in no way are associated with Parkmobile. Why do you need a vehicle registered? If it’s paid for I should be able to park any car I want there. This is a total scam app. **Developer response:** Thank you for your feedback! The Parking Enforcement Officers in your area verify your payment by your license plate number, zone number and the space number where applicable. The officers have hand held devices that they use to match the zone number and your license plate number. This is used to measure the activity in the zone. I hope this answers your inquiry! ### 1/5 — Unable to change the time on the app *2018-09-04, version 8.1* I only wanted to park for 15 min and was unable to change the time. Also put 2 quarters in then meter stated only takes app! Called number and unable to speak with anyone! Very frustrating. Trying to get this to work for 1/2 hour now. **Developer response:** I apologize for the inconvenience! Unfortunately, parking transactions can't be adjusted once started, as no parking operator allows us to have that functionality. It always takes forever to use — even when I’m on WiFi — and it always tells me it doesn’t use the payment method I have entered ... until I enter the same payment method again.
