Worst people working behind it - even if you do pay, you get a warning because for some reason they can’t see that you’ve paid. But even if you do pay, they’ll find another reason to fine you to get the most money out of you. ### 1/5 — Does not work *2024-08-27, version 9.3.3* I entered my phone number and tap “done” expecting to receive a text with the code but nothing happens. My only option is to login with my email but I haven’t even created an account yet. You should fix the issues or shut this app down if you have given up. ### 1/5 — Terrible *2024-08-05, version 9.3.3* Can’t even get the dang thing set up because it won’t let me enter my phone number on that screen and get the text with a code. I put my number in and click done and nothing. Terrible app. Unusable. The first screen is enter you phone number or email, but there’s on submit button. App is so broken!!! ### 1/5 — Embarrassing as a city app *2023-12-21, version 9.3.3* Can’t easily add credit cards, says I have duplicate. Lots of buttons don’t pull up keyboard. This is embarrassing, do more trials and fix these issues ### 1/5 — Does not work! *2023-04-07, version 9.3.3* I’ve gotten 2 tickets this week despite having paid using the app. Either it’s the app not relaying my payments and session # to KCMO field staff, or the KCMO employees don’t care and just give tickets to everyone regardless of using the app. So it’s basically a racket. ### 1/5 — No longer works with new iOS *2022-03-29, version 2.1.0* Worked fine until the latest iOS. The app has not been updated in over a year. ### 1/5 — DOA *2020-09-09, version 2.1.0* App is useless, this error: “Network error, please try again.” Is the response I get when I try to register with my phone or email address. This app needs to be brought into modern times. ### 1/5 — Broken and not helpful *2024-09-23, version 9.3.3* I just read an article that over the summer the City of KC instituted $30 parking fees during events. In the article City representatives said the way to know which areas are affected is to use this app and that possibly they could send push notifications when the user is in the area. We’ll be attending an event this week and to be prepared I downloaded the app. I can’t even get past the first screen (enter email address or phone number) even after multiple attempts. And according to the developer history tge app hasn’t been updated in more than 2 years??! This is very wrong, forcing people to use a broken app. Bad move KC. ### 1/5 — Worst app *2024-09-05, version 9.3.3* Terrible, broken app that doesn’t allow you to even log in, and then when you use the web version none of your credit cards are valid. The worst parking app I’ve ever used. ## Most praised reviews (2 highest-rated) ### 3/5 — Looks usable. Needs Apple Pay *2022-12-12, version 9.3.3* Not another app to add my credit card to!!! With the frequency of hacks and data breaches, I don’t want to put my card info in ANOTHER place. Apple Pay is faster, safer, and just an easy decision. Add Apple Pay and I’ll use the app. ### 2/5 — Unable to get Support *2020-03-31, version 2.0.2* Neither of my payment cards could work even though there was nothing wrong on the bank side. And I was completely unable to get help from support via chat or phone. Also, why not just support Apple Pay? I fail to understand why apps make payment harder than it should be.
