Could not get around it on my phone or my wifes. Once i put in my visa it worked right away. Hopefully just a bug they can fix but confused the heck out of my whole family for a while and kinda messed up our day a bit. ### 3/5 — Missing Apple Pay Support *2023-01-02, version 3.0.0* The app works well enough but it really needs Apple Pay support. It’s a pain to have to manually enter a credit card when it could be so simple and easy! ### 1/5 — Impossible to sign up for it *2022-08-10, version 3.0.0* App kept saying error pin. Have made numerous attempt to sign in. The confirmation pin they sent was always “error incorrect pin” one attempt I managed to get almost to the end , but it got stuck on the completion. Not a pleasant visit to Tybee Island. ### 1/5 — Payment options don’t work. *2022-07-13, version 3.0.0* I have used this app for a while but recently the payment options haven’t been working. I have tried two different cards and my girlfriends card with nothing working. I’ve called my bank and the charge isn’t even going though to their end. The app probably has a bug that needs fixed. Will change review when problem is fixed. ### 1/5 — Not working *2022-06-05, version 3.0.0* Went to park one day at Alley 3. No longer have option to pay at a kiosk so only option is app. Downloaded app, started set up and would not send verification code. Walked down to water, sat around for 15 minutes wait for parking police to make their rounds and finally got code. Went through entire set up including credit card info then just reverted back to the initial verification screen and two hours later still no code again so I cannot park. No way to contact support. Deleted app, started over same issue. Had friend Use her app so we could park without ticket. Have latest iPhone software, maybe that is it. seems like they have lots of issues they need to fix. ### 1/5 — Couldn’t get it to work, tried multiple times *2022-04-18, version 3.0.0* Frustrating. Good thing we had quarters. Nowhere did it mention not working with discover cards and it’s clearly a working credit card, it’s the one we use daily 🤷🏻‍♀️ ### 1/5 — Worse Parking App Ever *2022-04-05, version 3.0.0* This parking app has hidden sections that aren’t labeled, so if you have a problem, such as being issued a bogus ticket, it’s nearly impossible to find the nine-digit number the power-hungry person in the parking ticket office demands. Providing documentation of having paid will do no good. Tybee is not interested in evidence w/out the hidden nine-digit number. You will be harassed. Repeatedly. Choose a friendlier beach town to visit and save yourself the nightmare of dealing w/ small-minded, small-town Barney Fife types. ### 1/5 — App Not Working *2022-03-05, version 3.0.0* I was charged 5 times for parking after being labeled “not valid”. This is a rip off. ### 1/5 — App has never worked *2021-07-16, version 2.0.2* Won’t determine location, no matter what I tell it in terms of permissions. Tried on two separate phones ### 1/5 — Parking enforcement uses this *2021-06-06, version 2.0.2* They use this and wait until your time expires and tickets you literally minutes after. After I paid $3.50 an hour to park for the whole morning. The whole thing is a scam, won’t be returning to Tybee ever again because of the ridiculous parking enforcement. Oh an conveniently, the only button that doesn’t work in the app is the “dispute ticket” button. Even more of a scam. ### 1/5 — Phantom charge, no support to handle complaints *2021-05-07, version 2.0.2* BEWARE!!! I wasn’t even on the island, APP charged my credit card. Of course no help from city of Tybee. No way to complain on APP. Even the chat only answers to their pre selected issue, of course there is no category or option for “I got charged for nothing” BEWARE ### 1/5 — App not working *2021-01-01, version 2.0.2* Past two trips, app keeps stating “location services not available” checked location services in my settings to be sure they were set correctly. Yes, they were set to on “while using.” Very frustrating as I do not have change to feed into their meters. ### 1/5 — Didn’t work *2020-07-31, version 2.0.0* Tried using it and it wouldn’t load rates for me ### 1/5 — App is faulty *2020-07-02, version 2.0.0* Beware of this app. I was trying to park and checked my license plate twice to make sure it was correct but when I finally reserved the parking, the app reverted back to my old license plate from CO. I got a ticket. When I called the city they said there is nothing they can do. ### 1/5 — What you really need to know! *2020-06-11, version 2.0.0* There’s nothing about this parking app that is special! I downloaded it because I thought you could add an hour at a time, but in fact, NO, they still make you pay another minimum of 2 hours for also an outrageous price at $3.50 an hour!! Oh there is also a convenience fee as well of $.32. App starts out bad and goes from there, starts out asking for a PIN that I have not yet established. I guess it assumes you’re a returning user at a vacation island??? It demands the PIN can’t have any adjacent repeating numbers like 1443 even though well established security research will tell you that is more secure. You finally get signed in and the. It won’t use credit cards stored in your iPhone, something that half of the population uses. The privacy policy is lengthy, I suspect because they’re using the app on your phone to track you. Police kept driving by like they could see I hadn’t paid yet as I stood in the sun trying to pay while my family is in the restaurant. Probably wo t come back to Tybee, this is my second visit and probably last ### 1/5 — DO NOT USE THIS APP *2026-05-14, version 9.8.0* This app does not work. If you are parking at Tybee Island, Use the Passport Parking app instead. Zone for entire island is 2100! ### 1/5 — Error Messages *2026-04-09, version 9.8.0* Pre downloaded the app before our trip. When I tried to use the app, it was giving an error message and was unable to complete the purchase. But the app states my session ends in 58 minutes, not 1 hour. Went to pay and noticed they removed the box from my usual spot. Downloaded the app thinking this was better, but it really wasn’t. Entered two of my cards , checked to make sure my info was right, and went to pay several times. Got an error message saying that it had issues processing payment. Went to my bank app and saw the money come out. Went to the beach, and came back to a ticket on my window. I hope the money I give Tybee for this unnecessary ticket goes to pay for a better quality app. Great idea but total junk.
