Fumbling for the phone with cars queued behind can be stressful. App stays on confirmation screen after opening boom, making it extra work for when you need to use app next. A logical timeout function would make sense. Instead, debris fell from the ceiling of the car park and cracked my windscreen. The structure above my allocated space was visibly deteriorated. When I reported the damage, the response focused only on terms and conditions, with no real effort to address responsibility or the safety issue. It felt like the situation was dismissed rather than properly assessed. To make things worse, my parking permit was cancelled immediately without prior notice or acknowledgement, late in the evening when offices were closed. I was forced to find last-minute hourly parking at my own expense. The refund only covered remaining days, not the disruption or additional costs caused. This was extremely stressful, especially as a student, and completely opposite to what you expect when paying more for a “managed” parking service. Poor accountability, poor customer handling, and a very disappointing experience overall. I would not recommend this app if you expect safety, fairness, or support when something goes wrong. ### 1/5 — Dates *2026-01-12, version 10.5.1* When you look at the page where it shows the parking space for the day it should also display the date. I use this app often to take a disabled family member to various therapies. Whilst I understand that there needs to be in negotiation with the car park owner and Parkable. It’s pretty inexcusable in the 21st-century that my child’s needs have to be second place nearly every time we go out. Of course, I am referring to many things including access etc. That we cannot lay at Parkable‘s responsibility. But it would make a difference if an effort could be made so actually deal with this situation rather than thinking it’s just “too hard”and leaving it because some people really do need all the help they can get. I have to say that apart from the above this app has always worked very well, I once needed to contact them - and it wasn’t anything technical - and the cor response was immediate, and I mean immediate. ### 1/5 — Awful app *2026-01-05, version 10.5.0* Very glitchy would not accept my credentials and kept bugging out Extremely stressful given I’d arrived for a drs appointment. So I had to walk inside the parking garage to enter and exit. There is no service in the garage so the app does not work. Of course, you must use the app to open and close the gate.
