## What is Parkade?

Parkade reinvents how parking can work at private buildings, enabling parking to be managed through an app.

Instead of property managers managing parking via spreadsheets or paper leases, Parkade digitizes a building’s parking operations and makes parking self-serve for tenants. Depending on what features your building choose to leverage Parkade for, tenants can use Parkade to:

- Book short-term parking
- Book or manage long-term parking
- Open your building’s parking gate(s)
- Report issues with your parking spot(s)
- Add or edit your vehicle records
- Book EV charging spots
- Book parking for a guest, giving them gate access and wayfinding tools
- Rent out or share your long-term parking spot with others
- Sublease a spot from someone else

Parkade brings your building’s parking into the 21st Century, making parking a snap for everyone! Note that it’s up to each building who gets Parkade access, as many buildings choose to limit access to tenants. At other buildings, Parkade can be used by the public to rent excess parking.

Not sure if your building is right for Parkade, or are you a property manager/HR team member looking to set your building up with Parkade? Drop us a note at hello@parkade.com, and we'd be happy to chat!

### 1/5 — Avoid at all costs

*2026-06-30, version 1.1.18*

Might be the worst parking app for apartments of all time. They have no way of managing conflicts, other than fees, cool, that doesn’t give me a spot when all others are booked up.

They change their UI in unhelpful ways constantly, like maybe listen your customers, or add a way to do so, also no one cares you changed your logo, maybe work on actual fixes rather than a cool logo.

They have raised $17 million to date, but idk how, when they can barely solve a single simple parking problem.

### 1/5 — Say goodbye to your parking

*2026-06-14, version 1.1.15*

To all of the reviewers - report this app to the App Store support. They can’t get away with this.

I agree with all of the reviews- this is a terrible, dishonest, disgusting company that is ultimately an absolute nightmare to deal with. We never had issues with parking and as soon as our building switched to them we all experience the same issues.

Long story short you will lose access to your parking sport which you are paying for by the way.

### 1/5 — Not at all

*2026-05-20, version 1.1.15*

These parking apps bring 3-party data brokers. The attack surface for mobile parking is widely accepted? Why?

### 1/5 — Horrible!!!

*2026-05-20, version 1.1.15*

Building in town just got Parkade for their garage. It’s by far the worst parking/payment processing company I have ever encountered. Not easy to use, expensive, and somehow rude!

### 2/5 — The good and the bad

*2026-05-08, version 1.1.15*

This is a great app for booking flexible parking spaces but as an access control it really makes no sense. If you are one of those that enjoy stopping in front of your garage, pull your phone out, open an specific app and touching a bottom every time you get home then this is for you assuming you have cell phone signal to use it. For the rest of us, this makes absolutely no sense.

### 1/5 — Stupid app

*2026-04-21, version 1.1.14*

Requested a verification code to register but never received it. Then they blocked me because I asked for the code multiple times. After that, they sent several codes all at once within a second. That already feels like a red flag.

### 1/5 — Terrible company. Shameful and Greedy Business

*2026-04-14, version 1.1.14*

This company can get lost…they thrive off being the most unnecessary middle man in the history of mankind. Not only is their customer service a joke but they refuse to communicate with the building management to address timely and important parking issues.

They take advantage of people who already pay very good money to rent apartments by charging rates higher than any other property would even have the audacity to charge for parking. The vast majority of apartments have at the very least one free space but not in a Parkade garage. You will pay for your first spot and you even have to pay for your own guests to park just for a few hours.

Is your property using Parkade? If so, prepare to be gouged and taken advantage of. Need to use an EV space that was marketed as an amenity by your building? Prepare to be fined and reported by other residents who have boxed all other residents out by renting it on a long term/month to month basis.

Im blown away that this type of company even exists. Go do something valuable for society with your time instead of exploiting apartment renters that are already being taken advantage of. The next place I rent will most certainly not have a garage managed by Parkade.

If you are looking at an apartment complex with a third party company thats managing parking, I would highly suggest not renting there. It just proves the level of laziness, poor organization, and general lack of care that a property manager or the owner has for the property and the customers who rent from them.

### 2/5 — Can’t let guest pay

*2026-04-08, version 1.1.14*

App works fine for my building, but it sucks there’s no payment option such as “let guest pay”. My guest is already being forced to download this app to their phone, why can’t it handle payment processing from them directly? Just let the spot be held when booked, then either confirm it when the guest pays or drop the hold after 15-30 min.

### 1/5 — The stupidest idea ever put forth in human history

*2026-04-06, version 1.1.14*

What would compel a facility to have a 3rd party handle its parking lot? The app doesn’t work, the facility cannot help and this company doesn’t have any customer support that can resolve issues in any immediate capacity. I have to move in to my apartment today and I can’t secure a parking spot through the app, I guess I’ll just have a my car towed! What an amazing concept! I genuinely cannot fathom why this is an actual thing I have to use. I don’t care if I get free parking until the end of time, this is by far the stupidest app/ company I have ever interacted with in any capacity and its existence is an example of the squalor that American society has devolved to.

### 1/5 — Pure Scum

*2026-03-28, version 1.1.13*

Nothing says “we do not respect tenants” like taking the most basic part of daily life — parking where you live — and turning it into a monetized inconvenience.

Parkade transforms ordinary residential parking into a bureaucracy where tenants are expected to pay, manage, monitor, and worry about something that should never have become this annoying in the first place.

Boyfriend? Girlfriend? PAY UP. Apparently nobody is allowed to come see you without Parkade getting its cut first.

They claim to solve one problem — not having enough parking for residents — when the real problem was simply unauthorized people parking here long-term. In exchange they have created several new problems: More monitoring, more hassle, and more money out of tenants’ pockets.

That is what makes this so insulting. This is not a resident-first solution. It is an exploitative, pay-the-management system that takes a basic part of home life and turns it into one more opportunity to charge people for something that was never an expense before.

They’ve created a new problem and make you pay to solve it.

They create the disease and sell you the cure.

Expect some patronizing BS email about “making the resident experience better” before they proceed to rip you and your guests off.

A landlord that adopts this is sending a clear message: tenants are nothing more than revenue generators to be monitored and controlled. You are the equivalent of livestock to them.
