Pick one and pull out you red grammar pen. You cannot choose which reminder lists hide/show in the right column. It shows everything from all lists. Also, if you delete a list in the Parker planner app it also deletes the list in reminders with no warning or confirmation. Bummer, cause I really wanted it to work. **Developer response:** Hi daOrganiCzar, thanks for downloading and reviewing! By your username it sounds like you try out a lot of productivity apps. About the todo list on the right column of Day View - ah yes, we've received a couple requests to be able to hide/show which lists you want to see. Guess what? We agree! That's a great idea and it's on our list. And yes, ParkerPlanner does indeed sync directly with Reminders at the moment so any changes you make here will be reflected there. I've used fantastical for years and thought, nothing could compare, I then tried Parker Planners. The format is easy to use, editing simple and it looks good. The notes facility within the app just puts the icing on the cake. Finally the people behind the app are responsive to any concerns you bring to their attention. I would not hesitate to recommend this app and give it a five star rating, well done Parker Planners its a joy to use. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — No Response From Support *2019-02-18, version 2.4.6* Here’s a great idea. Let’s give folks a week’s free trial to assess the app. But here’s NOT such a great idea. If someone is assessing the app and runs into a problem that needs resolving, let’s not get back to them when they contact support. Then, if they have ANOTHER problem, and contact support AGAIN, let’s not get back to them. AGAIN. I assume that’s the conversation the developers had. That’s what happened to me anyway. Well, if developers can’t be bothered giving me, a potential paying customer, their time, then I can’t be bothered giving them my money. Deleted. ### 1/5 — Can't trial without providing an email address *2018-04-12* Sorry team but being unable to trial the app without providing an email address is not ok. A) no explanation as to why you could conceivably need my email address. Calendars/contacts/notes are iOS- not email linked. B) no privacy statement- what will you do with my email? C) even if there is a good reason (web login for example), if just want to trial the app, to assess its suitability, then I shouldn't be forced to provide private information (email address) before assessing the app. **Developer response:** Hey there! Let me reply to each of your concerns - A - Your email is your username so you don't have to keep track of two things. It also allows you to recover your password if you don't remember. Todos and cal events soon to follow. We have a very unique free trial period. You get 7 non-consecutive days and unlike Apple's default system we do not charge you at the end of a free trial. We also provide a link directly into your iTunes subscriptions right from the ParkerPlanner app in case you ever want to cancel. Many apps don't do this because they know you have to hunt through iTunes to find the link to cancel a subscription. We're open and honest, we're a small but dedicated team. I purchased their first app, now they don’t support or update it. Terrible company. **Developer response:** Edited May 2020 we just released two updates and it's a lot better. Oh, if app development were easy. Hardly easy money, fine sir. The new app is much, much better than the old one as it sync across devices and has much better functionality including landscape and iPad support for the same low price. We also now are working on a desktop web app with Notes already available with full sync! ### 1/5 — Liars. *2017-11-29* 1 star for wasting 3 minutes of my life when u could have just told me that it was a paid app. **Developer response:** The AppStore clearly states that it's a subscription based app as does onboarding. Please email us and we'd be happy to extend your free trial so you can determine if it's useful for you. ### 1/5 — Not Happy *2017-06-24, version 2.3* There is no free option. Yes, you get a free trial. But you can't continue to use this app as a "lite" or "free" version. Which is fine if that's their business model. However, let me know that from the start! They got me to spend my valuable time signing up with them before asking me which subscription I wanted (monthly or yearly)—I already created an account, giving them my email, not knowing I couldn't use the app for free. Let's hope they don't spam my email that I just gave them. This app was opened once and immediately deleted. I don't appreciate the lack of ethics here and I just hope my review helps someone else save their time and effort. ### 1/5 — Parker Planner review for 4/24/17 *2017-04-24, version 2.1* I downloaded this app today, and it does nothing! It crashes, it freezes, and does not let me asses the information. More work is needed before the app is usable! ### 1/5 — Pay for this twice ?!?! Not fair *2017-04-12, version 2.0* I had the original version, I paid to upgrade. Now I have to again and I lost all my previous stuff ? No way that's a rip off. ### 2/5 — Doesn’t work *2022-11-22* I used to really like this app. But it doesn’t really work anymore. Sometimes events appear in the calendar and sometimes they don’t. I’ve checked the settings multiple times to no avail. The last update was well over a year ago. It appears that this app is no longer being supported, so I would go a different direction if I were you. ### 2/5 — Cannot sync with Google nor Calengoo *2020-11-02, version 2.5.4* Being unable to sync with my Android's calendar and planner makes this useless to me. Cross-platform ING with Windows, Android, and iOS is important for me. Deleting. I love this app. However It hasn't had any updates for almost year. Would you consider making this app free instead? Just the right amount of features that it can mesh right in with your preferred planning habits, but not to many that it’s excessive or overwhelming. Devs are always quick to respond to big fix feedback. I’ve had the yearly subscription since the new version of the app came out and it’s definitely worth it. **Developer response:** Thank you! We are releasing bug fixes right now to help everyone feel the joy ### 5/5 — Calendar and todo list side by side *2020-05-15* First off, customer service is amazing on this app. They will patiently do what it takes to solve your problem and make it right, always. Seeing my calendar and todo list right next to each other every day helps me figure out **when to do things, not just *that I need to do them. This app helps a ton with that. Being able to jot smoothing down really quick in notes on a given day is amazing. Then if I’m trying to remember a thing or idea from doing that it’s in Day View Notes tag over in notes. I used to use the IPhone calendar, Google calendar, Outlook calendar, to do lists on my phone notes, to do lists on my phone, and to do lists on my mole skin notebook. (I still love my notebook for writing out all my thoughts). I love this app!!! It’s everything I wanted in a planning app. No lie and I was super lucky to find it. I literally downloaded so many calendar apps and this was exactly what I imagined my perfect calendar would be like. Everything you need to keep your life organized is in one place. It's so handy to be able to see my calendar, reminders, and notes all together. Love it! No more bouncing between apps for me! It was very easy to use for a daily planner, and it always helped me stay on track and get things done. The simple interface was great to work with. The new app is even better! It’s really simple yet really effective. Every other planner app I have tried is confusing and has too many unnecessary things going on, but this app does it right. The new additions have been added seamlessly and it looks better than ever! Highly recommend this app for those who are looking for a modern spin on the classic day planner!
