This renders the app practically useless. ### 1/5 — Awful, just awful *2024-10-19, version 4.2.0* The app is almost unusable. Use the website. ### 1/5 — Beware *2024-10-12, version 4.2.0* Paid for a month in advance + bond and haven’t heard anything since. ### 1/5 — buyer beware *2024-05-16, version 4.2.0* rented a car space and then on the date of use the owner informed me someone had parked so close to their space that the spot would be very difficult to enter (in actual fact impossible). I think now probably a scam from the owner. Thing is when I approached Parkhound and advised them of the issue they told me they had already paid the owner of the spot despite me having no use of it. Been over a month now and while they have returned the $100 bond they have not returned the $97.50 owed, just provided excuses and blamed the owner for not returning the funds (which they say they have done). Now they have stopped responding to my emails. In summary, total waste of time for 0 service. Woeful customer support and I will never use again. ### 1/5 — Average *2024-04-27, version 4.2.0* Constantly signs you out. I’ve missed booking requests because of this. They state 1-2 days for Payments to your bank it’s more like 1-2 weeks. Poor form customer service is useless too. ### 1/5 — My credit card has been charged and I have no car park *2024-04-09, version 4.2.0* The owner of the car park I booked accepted the booking and said she would meet me to give me access. Now a day later is saying that she no longer wants to rent it out. Parkhound has already taken the payment for a month and a deposit of $200 on top for a key security deposit. ### 1/5 — This app needs a serious overhaul *2023-12-14, version 4.2.0* This app is so hard to use. I don’t know if I’ve ever experienced it using an app that is so dysfunctional it’s almost not even worth trying. When you look in specific areas, you can’t even put a date range for search in, and when scrolling through the different car spaces, sometimes, even though you were clicking on a different spot, the physical listing doesn’t even change, and when you try and click the button to go back, it is so far up the top left-hand of the screen and also sitting on top of a function for the phone itself, most of the time the back button doesn’t work I tried to make a booking and it told me that the owner of the car space had to confirm the booking and then the next morning I received a confirmation and the owner of the car space hadn’t actually confirmed and that park Hound had confirmed on their behalf, which then meant I had been charge for the booking and I couldn’t even use the space. And while I did get a refund. The multiple times that I have physically tried to contact Park hound asking questions, I have never had a response. You need to lift your game. And one more thing. You need to put in height restriction limits for physical car spaces. I found out how much extra you charge on top of the actual parking rate. I switched to the website and was able to create the listing, but it took 5 days to show up in the app. Even now when I try to edit the price or any other detail in the app, it either won’t save the change or it automatically shuts the app down. Very frustrating experience - we’ll see if it improves or the listing at least generates some income. ### 1/5 — Has potential, but not yet fit for purpose *2023-02-27, version 4.2.0* Parkhound has potential, but unfortunately their is no protection for people wanting to lease a car space. My car park was advertised as secure and private, but I noticed scratches and damage almost immediately after using the car space. When I checked the camera footage my secure car space was being used extensively by the building tenants as it was close to the door. Parkhound didn't offer any adequate support other than quoting the only protection for renters which is “you only have protection for the first 48hrs of a booking”. So I had to pay an entire month for a car space that was not as described, and my car was damaged in the process. I wouldn’t recommend Parkhound until they have better protections for both parties. ### 1/5 — Terrible experience *2023-02-14, version 4.2.0* I downloaded yesterday and it’s been nothing but a headache. No one to call. They don’t answer emails. They don’t keep copies of leases nothing. There is no customer service. That means I paid for nothing. And I still did not get my deposit back till now.
