The examples in the store show a 2P icon. When using the app the icons state ‘Free’. The payment experience for pay as you go was unreliable. The NSW Park & Pay app is clunky, unreliable, and clearly designed without any real user testing. Payments fail, sessions don’t start properly, the interface is confusing, and yet somehow the fines still get issued flawlessly. It’s infuriating that drivers are expected to rely on an app that regularly crashes, logs you out, or refuses to process payments—only to be penalised when it inevitably doesn’t work. There is zero accountability, poor customer support, and absolutely no consideration for the user experience. For an app tied directly to fines and revenue, the quality is embarrassingly low. This feels less like a service and more like a trap. NSW deserves far better than this frustrating, poorly executed piece of software. ### 1/5 — Useless and constantly fails *2026-01-06, version 13.0.1* Was at Tallows Beach Byron and the app constantly failed to load or accept payment. Used everything including resetting the phone. Absolutely frustrating and annoying government apps produced. Others in the group suffered the same issues.
