## What is ParkNudge?

Save your parking spot, remember the meter and find your way back.

ParkNudge keeps your parking pin, garage floor or section, note, photo and meter deadline together on your iPhone. Set local reminders and open walking directions to your saved spot.

PARKING IS FREE
Save a spot, set meter reminders, get walking directions back and finish, as often as you park. There is no limit on parking sessions and no purchase is needed to park.

LIFETIME PRO
One optional in-app purchase adds unlimited parking history, custom reminder times, parking-cost records and CSV export. It is a one-time purchase: no subscription, nothing renews.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
No account, ads, analytics or background location tracking. Parking records stay on your device. Location permission is requested only while you set up or save a spot, as While Using the App, never Always. You can decline and place the map pin yourself.

## Version history (last 3 releases)

### 1.2 — 2026-10-30

Meet Pip the Pin, ParkNudge's new guide.

NEW IN 1.2
- A short introduction on first launch. It asks where you usually park, explains what location and reminders are for before iOS asks, and helps you save your first spot. You can skip it, and replay it from Settings > About > Replay Introduction. Pip also appears on the Lifetime Pro screen.
- Siri and Shortcuts. Add Park Here and Find My Car from the Shortcuts app, or ask Siri. Park Here opens ParkNudge ready to save your spot. Find My Car opens walking directions to your saved spot. These actions only open the app: nothing is saved, moved or finished until you do it in ParkNudge.
- A meter countdown that adapts. In Low Power Mode, with Reduce Motion on, or while there is plenty of time left, the Park screen shows whole minutes and refreshes once a minute. In the last 15 minutes it shows seconds. Your meter reminders are unchanged: 15 and 5 minutes before the meter ends, and when it ends.
- Settings > Parking > Usually park in (street meter, garage or lot) puts the details you need first when you save a spot.

STILL THE SAME
Parking is free: save a spot, set meter reminders, get walking directions back and finish, as often as you park. The free history shows your last 3 finished sessions, and older ones stay stored on your iPhone. Lifetime Pro is an optional one-time purchase (no subscription) that adds unlimited history, custom reminder times, parking-cost records and CSV export.

### 1.1 — 2026-10-22

Parking is free for everyone: save a spot, set meter reminders, get walking directions back and finish, with no limit on parking sessions. Lifetime Pro is an optional one-time purchase that adds unlimited history, custom reminder times, parking-cost records and CSV export.

Also in this update:
- Meter reminders now show while ParkNudge is open.
- Parking controls stay clear of the tab bar.
- A saved parking photo is no longer lost if a later save fails.
- Restore Purchases reports clearly what it found and no longer waits indefinitely.
