## What is ParksPal?

ParksPal watches the parks so you don't have to. When a ride breaks down, when it comes back up, or when a hard-to-get table opens, your phone buzzes.

BREAKDOWN AND REOPEN ALERTS
Rides go down all day. ParksPal tells you the moment one breaks down and the moment it's back up, when the line is usually at its shortest. See every ride that's down right now, how long it's been down, and when it usually comes back. ParksPal reads the park's own status feed, so a scheduled closure or refurbishment never looks like a breakdown.

PARK WATCH
One switch covers every ride in the park: a push for every breakdown and every reopening, with zero setup.

WAIT TIME ALERTS
Pick a ride and a number. When the posted wait drops under it, you'll know. Set the same alert on several rides at once.

LIGHTNING LANE ALERTS
See Lightning Lane return times and get told when a ride's Lightning Lane sells out or comes back.

DINING RESERVATION ALERTS
Pick a Disneyland Resort restaurant that takes reservations, a date, and a party size. When a table opens up, you're the first to know. Watches run up to 60 days before your visit, and you book in the Disney app.

LIVE WAIT TIMES
Every ride in every park, updated every two minutes. Sort by shortest wait or by name.

BEST TIME TO RIDE
ParksPal has recorded every ride's wait every two minutes since spring 2026. See today's waits and the hours when each ride is usually shortest.

DINING
Menus and today's hours for Disneyland Resort restaurants.

FREE AND PAID
Live wait times, best times, one ride alert, and one dining watch are free. One-time Park Day and Trip Pass options unlock up to 30 ride alerts, Park Watch, alerts on several rides at once, and Lightning Lane alerts during your park days, which start when you tap Start. Dining watches start when you buy and run for 60 or 75 days, depending on the pass. No subscription or renewal.

COVERAGE
Disneyland Park, Disney California Adventure, Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Disney's Hollywood Studios, and Disney's Animal Kingdom. Switch resorts any time from the Park tab.

## Version history (last 4 releases)

### 2.3.0 — 2026-09-30

A brand-new ParksPal. The Park tab now puts rides that are down right now up top, with how long each has been down and when it usually comes back. Tap Notify me to hear the second it reopens, or turn on Park Watch for every breakdown in the park. Dining watches now list only restaurants that take reservations. Plus a quicker intro, a Pass button in the tab bar, and two lower-priced one-time passes: Park Day and Trip Pass.

### 2.1.0 — 2026-09-15

New name, same app: ParksPal: Wait & Dining Alerts. Dining reservation alerts now cover both Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World. We also fixed a batch of reliability issues so ride and dining alerts fire more consistently. After an alert notification, the app may ask you for an App Store rating.

### 2.0.0 — 2026-09-02

ParksPal is now an alerts app. The AI chat is gone; in its place: ride wait alerts that re-arm on every new low, closure and reopen alerts that tell down from closed, Park Watch for the whole park, Lightning Lane sell-out alerts, dining reservation alerts, and a best-time-to-ride chart built from months of recorded wait history. Free accounts get one alert; a one-time Trip Pass unlocks the rest.

### 1.0 — 2026-06-17
