ParkUT is the mobile application for utahparkpass.com.  This exclusive service is available to clients of Utah Parking Authority and University Parking Enforcement in Utah.  Please contact us if you would like to join the 800+ apartment communities, HOA’s, commercial / retail lots, and municipalities utilizing our parking management and enforcement services.

Anybody who has used this app understands the kind of cancer it embodies - gouging college students for money they don’t have, offering zero recourse even when it’s on them. Always remember this: no matter what you pay, the information you put in, the boxes you check, YOU ARE NOT SAFE. Do not ever trust this app :)

Date selection isn’t clear.  You only click start date.  Not start and end.  Doesn’t make clear you can only select one day at a time or how long it lasts 24 hours?

This app makes having friends over virtually impossible. Not user friendly and a complete pain. I hate my apartment complex for using it.

They will do whatever to drain you of your money. My friends license plate was off by a single digit and he had to pay $75 to remove a boot from his car. This was after already getting booted once a week before for parking in the wrong spot. ParkUT is ran by terrible people 👎🏻

This whole administration is a joke. If your apartment complex uses this system DO NOT MOVE THERE. PERIOD. Got booted for incorrectly entering one license plate digit and after sending them PROOF that I did in fact sign up and misspelled something, they refused to help me. A bunch of greedy jerks who care about nothing but money. Never. And I mean NEVER live ANYWHERE that enforces this system.

I’d give this company a zero star review if I could. Predatory tactics while also coercing their victims to transport the boot on their own time to return it. Websites don’t work. App runs like an early 2000 program. Return locations aren’t listed unless you text or call for information. Gigantic waste of time designed to steal as much money as they can.

I have been going over to my girlfriend’s apartment almost everyday since she moved in. She has now been in her lease for 6 months and the apartment complex has decided to implement this app as a part of their new parking policy. Before the new policies, I could park for free as long as I was not in a reserved parking spot (finding a spot was the only challenge but it was free so no harm no foul). Totally reasonable right? With the new policies, I have to pay $10 every other day. I’m sorry but $5 a day to park for a couple hours at a time is insane. Now for me it’s to park without being charged or run the risk of getting booted/towed, I have to park half a mile away because there isn’t even street parking! If this policy was implemented at the beginning of the lease, my girlfriend would never have signed. I guess this review is more meant for her apartment complex, but this app is part of the problem. It also has a terrible UI that is not intuitive at all. Don’t sign a lease where they use this app. 

P.S. My girlfriend is worth every penny I pay to park, but a Tariff to park is insane. There is already enough of that going around thank you very much.

I got a temporary car and registered it on the app. There was no contact info on the app to make sure I did it right. I walked out that same night with a boot on my car. I saw the dude putting the boot on my car and he drove away mid conversation. Getting paid commission from booting college kids is a crazy business idea.
