## What is ParkWijs?

Parkwatch is the quiet co-pilot that makes sure you never walk away from a paid parking spot without starting a session — and never forget to stop it when you drive off.

Park your car, open Parkwatch, and it tells you straight away: is this a paid street-parking zone, is it free, or are you covered by your own resident permit? If you need to pay, it gives you a loud, time-sensitive alarm so the reminder actually reaches you — not a notification you'll miss.

WHY DRIVERS USE IT
• Never get a parking fine again. A single fine in Amsterdam costs more than €70. Parkwatch is free.
• Know before you leave the car. Paid, free, or covered by your permit — answered in seconds.
• An alarm, not a notification. The "start your session" reminder rings and repeats every 5 minutes until you swipe it away. No snoozing, no missing it.
• Drive-off reminder. Get nudged to stop your session when you leave, so you don't overpay.

Heading somewhere unfamiliar? The map shows paid parking areas shaded by price — paler is cheaper, deeper is pricier — with the cost shown right on each area. Parking garages appear as pins you can tap for the operator's details and directions.

Parkwatch covers street-parking zones across the Netherlands, built on the Dutch national parking register.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
• No account. No sign-up. Nothing to set up but your car.
• Everything stays on your phone. Your location is never sent to a server — because there is no server.
• No ads, no tracking, no data collection. Ever.
