## What is Parlaviva?

Stop studying Italian silently. Start speaking it.

Have real voice conversations with a coach who listens, replies, corrects you warmly, and remembers you — your goals, your city, the mistakes you made last week.

Whether you're traveling, moving, visiting family, or simply in love with the language, rehearse the Italian conversations you'll actually have.

WHAT MAKES IT DIFFERENT
• Live voice conversations — speak, be understood, be corrected kindly
• A coach with memory — every session builds on the last
• Corrections that teach — your mistakes become review cards and flashcards, automatically
• Real-life readiness — progress measured in moments you can handle, not points
• Your journey on the map of Italy — from first phrases to living like a local
• Encouraging streaks — never punishing

FOUR COACHES, ONE OF THEM YOURS
Warm Giulia, precise Lorenzo, brisk Marta, or Salvatore who makes you laugh. Hear each voice and pick the one you connect with.

### 5/5 — Finally an app to help me speak Italian!

*2026-09-24*

I’ve tried so many Italian learning apps and this one has impressed me.. you can have real conversations, instead of just tapping and learning vocab over and over without ever speaking

### 5/5 — 100x better than Duolingo

*2026-09-01*

I actually feel like I’m learning useful words and info at a personalized pace. The 1-1 coach is a game changer. The mix of using English and Italian to explain things makes it so much easier. Bravo! And grazie!

**Developer response:** Grazie, Ando - this is exactly what we hoped it would feel like. The English-and-Italian mix is deliberate: an explanation lands faster in the language you already think in, so your energy goes into speaking instead of decoding. Glad the 1-1 coach is clicking. If there's ever something you want yours to do better, we're here at support@parlaviva.com. In bocca al lupo!

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.3.0 — 2026-10-22

• A new home: your coach, one tap, and the one stop that's next. Everything else is a swipe away.
• Review, rearranged for tonight: your own corrections as flashcards, a quick game on the same sentence, a lesson in silence, one spoken retry — then tomorrow's call.
• Your percorso tells the truth: stops below your level count as passed, you can mark the ones you can already do, and readiness shows what's really behind you.

### 1.2.2 — 2026-10-15

• Performance and stability improvements for longer conversations with your coach.
• While you talk, your coach can now put a phrase on your screen and save a correction straight to your Review.

### 1.2.1 — 2026-10-09

• Ten new stops on your percorso — the market, a taxi, the gelateria, the phone shop, the barber, a lost suitcase, the post office, and more.
• Fixed minor bugs and improved the experience: widgets stay current even when you haven't opened the app, your recap arrives faster and no longer fails if you switch apps, and your coach now knows the app.

### 1.2.0 — 2026-10-06

• Widgets — Parlaviva now lives on your Home Screen and Lock Screen. Your streak, a phrase a day and a question from your coach, in paintings of Italy that change through the day.
• Fiamma a due — keep a flame with a friend. It stays lit on the days you both speak.
• Streak freezes — a missed day no longer breaks your streak when you have a freeze, and a broken streak can be won back.
• Mute — mute your microphone during a call. Your coach waits for you.

### 1.1.0 — 2026-10-01

• All your minutes in one place — your plan card now shows your monthly minutes and any extra time together, in one bar.
• When your speaking time runs out — the app says so clearly, tells you when your minutes return, and your coach is still there to chat by typing.
• Your color, everywhere — highlights and rings now follow the color you picked.
