Your feedback truly helps us make Parle better for everyone ### 1/5 — A ChatGPT wrapper scam *2025-08-17* Please do not give into the reddit ads. This app doesn’t let you use it for free. The closest option is to subscribe for a year and get a 7 day trial. Upon access to app there are a handful of random phrases which you speak and it gives an arbitrary percentage about how close it sounded to a native speaker. There is no in app option to change the level of proficiency of user, assuming the phrases change based on it. There is no menu option at all and subsequently no in app option to cancel the subscription. **Developer response:** Hi! Thanks a lot for your feedback. You’re right that at the moment the app doesn’t have a menu or the option to change proficiency level, this is something we’re already working on and plan to release soon. The pronunciation score is real: we use a speech analysis model to compare your speech with native patterns, it’s not random. The trial and subscription flow is handled directly through the App Store, and you can always cancel from there. We’re actively working on ways to make the experience more comfortable, including better pacing and repetition options. ### 2/5 — Good speech recognition but bad using of it - shame *2025-11-29, version 2.2.1* I was looking for an app with good speech recognition to lean French. This app has it. But it’s poorly developed on everything else. It doesn’t follow your practice, leaves you alone to know which exercises you’ve done before, once you get one sentence right it disappear from your “to work on” list. It’s a mess. No wonder why you can try it for free for a few a few days. And it’s truly a shame - regarding French, it’s the best speech recognition I’ve fond - and I’ve looked all over. Only here they are putting to waste. Do not recommend. ### 2/5 — The price *2025-11-03* You need to fix the price, aint nobody paying for that! **Developer response:** We understand your concern! I would have accepted that of it ended up working, but it does not. The features diminish very quickly and ar some point the app is just stuck on one page.
