## What is Parley?

Parley uses adaptive reading to put you inside authentic Japanese passages — short, graded texts matched exactly to your JLPT level and interests. Every word you don't know is one tap away from a full dictionary entry, example sentences, and instant spaced-repetition review.

How it works
Open the app, read a short passage in Japanese. Tap any unfamiliar word to see its reading, meaning, and usage. Add it to your review queue with one tap. Parley remembers every word you've learned and resurfaces it at precisely the right moment using FSRS — the most effective spaced-repetition algorithm available.
